A two bedroom seaside property that sleeps up to four

people and is situated in a superb position in Southwold just minutes from the beach. This brand new build has panoramic views of the marshes and harbour on the river Blyth to the rear and sea views to the front.

Perfect for taking early morning coffee and looking out on the dunes from the top floor balcony and then having evening drinks on the patio to watch the most tremendous sunsets over the fields behind.

The interior is modern and light marrying contemporary design with comfort and all amenities offering luxurious flexible and versatile accommodation.

Stunning beach house

A perfect modern beach house in a lovely spot across the road from the beach. Southwold is a great place to stay in the winter. Brisk walks on the beach were followed by steaming cups of tea in the warm house. Would definitely stay again. Good communication from Ben and Caroline.

Stunning views, perfectly located for walks on the beach & into the centre of Southwold. Recommended

Great house with lots of light and enjoying stunning views from the living area and main bedroom over the marshes. Really well equipped and beautifully furnished. Short walk into the centre of Southwold or the harbour, 2 mins over the dunes to the beach. Would love to visit in warmer weather to enjoy the balconies but also a great winter break can’t recommend strongly enough. We hope to be back. Many thanks.

The Hutch is very comfortable and provides all you need.

Great for local walks or simply admiring the stunning views.

Southwold never disappoints, you just do not want to leave.

Beautiful property in an excellent location - a thoroughly relaxing break

The Hutch is a lovely, bright and airy property with fantastic views over the marshes (for brilliant sunsets with a G&T on the terrace) and very easy access to the beach for misty morning strolls.

It has everything you need for a holiday - we stayed for two weeks and wanted for nothing. There are lots of nice touches which make it very homely (such as snuggle blankets, ornaments and pictures). There's also a decent amount of storage and spaces for your things.

The owners were really helpful before and during our stay, answering questions promptly and with lots of information and detail. There is also plenty of information and some guide books in the property, which were helpful.

The location is superb, easy walking distance to the harbour (for the best fish mongers) and to the high street (for shops, cafes and more). Southwold kept us entertained for most of our stay, just chilling out and pottering. We ventured further afield to Orford Ness, Minsmere, Thorpness, Dunwich and Aldeburgh - all lovely spots with their own benefits.

We saw lots of wildlife, ate wonderful local food and met some lovely people (it seems that everyone is Southwold is very friendly and helpful). There are lots of dogs (I think we were the only ones without one) but we never saw any mess and rarely heard a bark.

Suffice to say, we'd been home less than 24 hours when I booked my next stay at the Hutch and I can't wait to be back!

The upstairs bedroom is phenomenal - I could live there. The downstairs one is practical but not as nice (and you do have to crawl on the bed to open or close the blinds, so maybe not suitable for anyone with limited mobility). If you go as two couples, there might be a fight over the "best" room so decide who gets what before you go!

I would recommend it though, especially if you are looking for a relaxed break with a bit of comfort and luxury. Worth the money for the chilled out feeling you get - a complete de-stress.
