Property description

Welcome  to Whistler Resort, world-renowned and home to the 2010 Winter Olympics. Rated by Ski Magazine as the No. 1 destination resort for skiing and mountain biking, as well as numerous other outdoor activities, we invite you to come and enjoy.

Our warm and cozy corner unit, on the ground level in Wildwood Lodge, is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. This location provides easy access to all summer and winter activities.

Our 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit is fresh and inviting, having just completed professionally designed renovations. All the cabinets and drawers are self-closing in the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a slow cooker, popcorn maker, pizza trays, etc., to provide you with a choice of easy meal and snack cooking apparatus. In addition, the unit has heated floors, fireplace, a Hi-def Smart TV, and free wireless high speed internet.

A private and spacious outdoor patio off the living room provides a summer green space for dining and an area for children to play. In the winter it becomes a children’s play-land. An electric barbeque is provided year round and a dining set in the summer.

Wildwood Lodge has a large heated pool(seasonal) and the largest, year round hot tub on the Benchlands. Free underground parking is provided, as well as locked storage for skis and bikes.

The free shuttle bus stop is outside the main entrance, and the bus takes you to the base of both mountains, the village and Lost Lake in the summer. The valley trail runs behind the unit providing easy access for walking and biking, and the ski-in/ski-out trail is accessed across the road from the lodge. The condo is a ten minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well as to Lost Lake.

Great location and the kids loved the pool!

Thanks Elmer for allowing us to rent your condo. We loved the private back patio to enjoy a glass of wine once we put the kids to bed and the overall location of the suite. The kids loved the pool! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only minor situation that came up was finding out while in Whistler that we had to leave before 7:00 am on our last day due to the road closures for the Ironman race. However, we were able to easily change our plans that day and get up bright and early. Might be good to let guests know about it in the future as we probably would have booked an extra day, enjoyed watching Ironman and left on the Monday. Have a wonderful summer!

Nice unit, very clean and comfortable. Close to village, trails, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Wildwood. The condo was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed during our stay. We had two suggestions for future rentals: there did not seem to be any specific barbecue tools (tongs, etc) and while there is a recycling room in the garage, one or two containers in the suite to separate the reclyclables would be handy.

Whistler was beautiful in early July.

The property met our needs. It was close to the village and lost lake and accessible by bike. The kids really liked the bunk beds. The owner is responsive and does a good job communicating up to your arrival.

Glorious weekend

Arrived the day summer kicked in, perfect weather for slumbering by the pool. Not what one would expect from a typically winter style resort. We found the condo larger then most, with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, well stalked kitchen, great cable package and kenwood stereo for quality easy listening, we felt very pampered. We did our internet searching for shopping, eating and attractions ahead of time which made for a great vacation with lots of pictures and memories. Highly recommend this rental to my friends and family.

Great Location and Great Rental

We had a great visit! We had a short walk to and from the lifts and it was easy to tell that with more snow, this would have been a perfect ski in/out. Owner was easy to work with, the rental was very clean and a perfect size for a family of four. We would definitely rent here again when returning to Whistler.

Good Experience

Nice location, nice unit. We liked the underground parking and the ski locker room so we didn't have to haul our skis to the unit. The heated tile floors in the bathrooms and kitchen are really nice, but we maybe could have used some explanation on which thermostats controlled them. The kitchen is nicely equipped.

The ski in/out accessibility is a little tricky, and you do have to cross a road each way. But even if the conditions won't let you ski in/out, it's a short walk to the base of the Wizard Express lift. It's also an easy (20 minute) walk to Whistler Village.
