The cabin is cosy and well equipped for up to 4 people with one bedroom, one sofa bed, a shower room, a living room and fully equipped kitchen and dining area. It is located on a very small log cabin park (only 14 cabins in total) and has the use of a childrens play area, under cover BBQ area and laundry facility. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome and will benefit from some great local walks in the woods and beaches
Owners Yvonne and David have lived in Longframlington for over 20 years and love the place so are delighted to share it with visitors to Northumberland. We have had the cabin for about 5 years and have had many happy guests in that time (our guest book is full of lovely comments - including 'bliss' 'cosy' 'relaxing'......just what we hoped for when we started Bliss in the Sticks!
yvonne bell purchased this cabin in 2009
The cabin is 3 minutes walk from our house so when the cabin came up for sale it was perfect and being 'small' and 'cosy' it was going to be easy to look after too.
I do the cleaning and booking myself and am usually around (or not far away) if needed by guests.
The cabin shares a small, quiet site with about 12 others but I reckon ours has the best view from the veranda. They are nicely spaced out and the shared grass areas are well tended to. Northumberland is a big county and there is lots to see including castles, fabulous beaches and coastline, historic towns with lovely shops and cafes, stately homes, forest and hill walks......just so varied. So you really need a car but being only 15 mins on foot to the village pub and shops you can hang up your keys if you want and your car need not turn a wheel.....
Sandy beaches are only 20 minutes drive from the property. Good for exploring the coastline or walking the dog.
The use of a car is essential, Newcastle Airport is 35 minutes away, the east coast main railway line is 15 minutes drive which will take you to Edinburgh, or South to Newcastle (and further)
The local shop in the village is 10 minutes on foot or 2 mins in the car, Alnwick is 20 minutes away and Newcastle is 35 minutes drive.
The list of places to see and things to do is considerable and we would recommend you visit our website for more information
