About the property

E8098

Two luxurious two bedroom lodges sitting on the banks of the River Teign where fallow deer come down to drink and buzzards soar overhead. A truly peaceful setting ideal for a relaxing holiday away from it all. Privately owned, managed and maintained to a high standard these lodges have every comfort. Clifford Bridge Park covers many acres running alongside the river with flower meadow and children’s play area. Deer Valley Lodge has a superb position with no lodges in front or nearby on the west side. Trout River Lodge sits right on the riverbank. Numerous walks can be taken directly from the lodge through National Trust forest to Castle Drogo, Fingle Bridge and Steps Bridge near Dunsford. Further afield the High Moors, Tors and villages of Dartmoor are waiting to be explored. The South Devon coast with its beautiful coves, sandy beaches and estuaries is only an hour away. The beautiful city of Exeter is a short drive away or Plymouth lies across the moors.
