About Jon Good

Hi, we are Jon & Susan Good. We are local people and have lived in Red Barn Lane for 20 years. We built our first holiday cottages in the grounds of our home 16 years ago and have been running them ever since with the help of one of our daughters.

Jon Good purchased this bungalow in 1996

Why Jon Good chose Shropshire

This is a great location. Its very pretty and quite like being in the country but you have all the facilities of a large town.

It is in a large garden surrounded by fields and trees so it gives plenty of space for everyone.

What makes this bungalow unique

We particularly like the convenience of being able to walk into the town centre. But its also great that as its at the end of a lane there is no passing traffic.

Beautiful cottage, amazing location, peaceful but close to town.

Lovely place to stay. Acorn cottage has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxed holiday. Fabulous gardens, cosy yet modern furnishings and a wood burner for the cold nights. So close to Shrewsbury but yet felt like we were in the deep countryside, best if both worlds. Shrewsbury is a fab place to explore. We had a wonderful few days.
