Trellis Cottage is situated in the village of Low Row facing south into Swaledale. It combines privacy and a glorious location with ready access to good dining facilities (2 minutes walk from the famous Punch Bowl pub). Walkers can leave straight from the door and cyclists can follow the route for the Tour de France 2014 which passes the by the cottage. All the rooms (except the larder !) look out onto a beautiful view of the dale. The area abounds with buildings of historic interest, and the market towns of Hawes, Leyburn, Richmond and Barnard Castle are all less than half an hours drive.

Notes on accommodation: Trellis Cottage is a Visit England accredited 4 star property. Outside: Terraced garden well stocked and well maintained. Places to sit and read or enjoy the spectacular views. Stone table and outdoor furniture provided for dining. The cottage is surrounded by it's own pasture land usually grazed by sheep. Utility Room: Washing machine, freezer, microwave. Ample space for boots and long rack for outdoor clothing. Stone flagged floor. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cottage serviced after every let. Friday changeover day. All linen provided except for bath sheets. These can be hired by arrangement. Cleaning material eg Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid provided. Linen changed weekly for longer lets. Other: Dining room. Open fire in stone fireplace. Table seating 6-8. Dresser with concealed hi-fi and storage for glassware. Stone flagged floors and glazed door opening onto the garden. Wi-fi point.

Reeth is the nearest village with shops, restaurants and cafés. 3 miles. Low Row village pub (Punch Bowl) is 150 yards. Market towns of Leyburn, Hawes, Richmond and Barnard Castle all within half an hours drive.

Call owner. Deposit of 100 gbp on booking, and balance two months ahead of the let. We recommend insuring your holiday as refunds not available unless the cottage re-books. All linen provided except large bath sheets/towels.

Changeover Day:
Friday. Arrive after 2:00 pm and depart by 10:00 am the following Friday. Weekend lets may be available for non peak weeks.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
