The Sundeck is a lovely well equipped 2 bedroom bungalow located just steps away from the beach and shops in Polzeath with parking, enclosed private garden with a summerhouse stocked with beach kit for your use including windbreaks, fishing nets, buckets and spades etc. large deck with outdoor Rattan furniture and BBQ ideal for al fresco dining. Outside tap / hose and washing line for wetsuits! Indoor board games for kids and adults, play station with selection of games, selection of DVD's. Free WIFI . Mobile phone on an Orange pay as you go tariff. We have 2 similar properties in this location - The Sundeck and Jay.

About Zoe Cryer

Zoe and Marcus live in Bristol but their love of Polzeath in Cornwall led them to firstly acquire The Sundeck in 2004 , followed by The Bluebirds next door in 2005 and then 2 years ago Jay which is next door to Bluebirds. We have a wonderful housekeeper who prepares the bungalows for the guests and a fantastic team that help with any maintenance.

Outside: The Sundeck has an enclosed south facing large wooden deck which has outdoor table and chairs, a parasol and BBQ so ideal for alfresco dining. 2 steps down from the deck is a level garden with summerhouse stocked with beach kit for your use. The beach kit includes wind breaks which are great for setting up base on the beach, fishing nets, buckets and spades and we ask that if these are broken while in your use that you please replace for the next family. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All beds made up with white cotton sheets and duvets plus fluffy white towels provided. The property has a mid stay clean and bedlinen/towels are changed if taken for longer than a week.

Perfect family holiday !

We had an amazing time staying in The Sundeck and found the location so close to the beach and shops made our holiday so easy. Very clean and well equipped ... lovely big white towels and soft linen... very comfortable beds too! Kids really enjoyed being in the garden so we made good use of the BBQ and lovely Rattan furniture on the deck. Wonderful coastal path walk round to Rock .... we then took the little ferry across to Padstow for lunch .... amazing day ! Thankyou - we will be back !!

The Sundeck is just a level 25 yards (30 seconds walk!) from Polzeath beach and easy reach of many more beaches.


Newquay airport is 20 minutes drive.


The Sundeck is in the centre of Polzeath.

Further Details:

Large Spar supermarket. Waterfront Restaurant (a real treat with fabulous sea views and only 20 yards from The Sundeck!), The Sandbar located below the Waterfront restaurant for casual lunch eat in and take away restaurant. The Oystercatcher pub is a few minutes walk away with great sea views and has live music at the weekends / great family pub for lunch and has free wifi. Post office. Fish and chip shop. Restaurants. Coffee shop. Ice cream parlour. Anns Cottage surfing shop for all surfing kit and large fashion section too.
