Wren cottage is part of a 200 year old stone barn on the East side of Langport close to the River Parrett. Beautifully renovated in a contemporary style, it is spacious, comfortable and cosy and perfectly located just off the high street of this small historic town. Outside there is a small courtyard with patio table and 2 chairs, private parking for one car and a gate leading directly to the River Parrett and Somerset Levels.

Superb property. Cosy and perfect location, especially for our dog with fields and river at back
Can highly recommend. Cottage is delightful. Beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you need. Gay, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. Local shops and places to go. Ideal for dog walks. Will go back again
Beautiful property wirh thoughtful interior in a quite location
The owners have obviously spend a lot of thought in providing guest with a 'home from home' with this beautiful very clean cottage. Little tokens like butter and bread and fresh milk being provided just shows the thoughtfulness of Gay and Steve. Thank you both for making our stay so pleasureable and for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We did not want to leave. Will definetely book again if we come into the area again
Perfect place to stay
We had such a lovely holiday here. Perfect place and lovely owners. Would definitely come back again
lovely and clean lovely welcome on arrival
Wren cottage is a lovely little hide away, for a quiet break for two, shops just around the corner pubs very welcoming,Clarks shopping village worth a visit, wells city very nice Glastonbury tor fabulous on a clear day, lunch at old king George pub a must for good old pub grub,
Perfect, best of both worlds.
The cottage is just of the main street in Langport with easy access to takeaways and Tesco, etc. We usually go for cottages that are quite isolated to allow for dog walks but then you have to use the car to get any supplies, food etc. But here at Wren Cottage, we could go for walks and still collect our dinner, etc. Gay and Stephen are very friendly and booking was straightforward. We loved being able to get to the Levels allowing us great walks with our dog, off lead. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Gay provided some essentials on arrival, milk, bread, etc. and the flowers on the table were a lovely touch. Clarks Village is nearby if you want to do some serious shopping. I have added it to my revisit list and would recommend it others. Thank you Gay and Stephen, we will be back.
Thank you for a lovely review - we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure meeting you both and your little dog and thank you for being such excellent guests. I'm sorry we were away for much of your visit, but hope to see you again soon. Many thanks again. Best wishes - Gay & Steve
