Moorland View Barn

Bedroom one has an en-suite shower room, king size bed, hair-dryer and flat screen TV with DVD.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and flat screen TV with DVD player.

Bedroom 3 has a zip & link super king size / 2 singles and flat screen TV with DVD player

En-suite shower room to bedroom 1 has a shaver point and heated towel radiator.

Luxury main bathroom has a large bath with shower over, shaving point and heated towel radiator.

All towels and fluffy bathrobes are provided

Kitchen is handmade by a local craftsman and is of excellent quality. Breakfast bar, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer, large range cooker with 3 ovens, pans and utensils, microwave, granite work surfaces

The luxuriously appointed living room has 2 sofas (one of which is a sofa bed and could sleep an additional 2 guests) and armchair. 40 inch flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, play station 3, ipod docking station, games, books, DVD’s, Wifi & log burner.

Dining area has adining table and 6 dining chairs.

Moorland View Barn and lodge can be taken separately or together, for a wonderful Peak District break.

The Barn has 3 bedrooms, underfloor heating, log burning stove with supplies of fire logs included and spectacular views.

Moorland View Lodge has one bedroom, central heating throughout and the same wonderful views as The Barn.

Both properties are luxuriously furnished. Hypnos beds, made with top quality Egyptian cotton linen provide a comfortable nights sleep.

Wifi is provided in both properties, along with flat screen t.v.'s in all the living areas and bedrooms, blu-ray players and docking stations.

Both properties have dishwashers, washer/dryers, ironing facilities, BBQ's, hairdyers, towels and bathrobes.

Each property also has a sofa bed in the lounge area if you wanted to squeeze in another two guests!

Baslow Easter Break

Great location to walk into Chatsworth grounds. (A bit of a walk to get there but worth it). Great location for exploring Bakewell, Matlock, Baslow, Chatsworth, and Litton. Lots of walks near by. Great day at Monstral trail on the bikes.

The house is beautiful. Very clean, well equipped and lovely rooms. Lots of space inside and also outside for BBQ's, dog walking etc.

Sarah was very accommodating and helpful and could not have been a better host. (Thank you for the welcome pack).

All-in-all a great home from home to stay at.

Gorgeous cottage in perfect settings

Arrived to the gorgeous cottage, little selection of drinks and snacks left for us. Lovely views of the hills. Cottage was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults one baby and two dogs. There’s some lovely villages, pubs and walks in the immediate area also. Have already discussed us all visiting again.

Beautiful location and charming house

We went to the peaks for a walking and activity break. The barn is situated overlooking some beautiful peak district hills. It's a great base to explore the countryside and a lovely place to go home to in the evening. Would highly recommend!

Great accommodation in a lovely location

Lovely house with far reaching views over the moors. We were blessed with good weather which made us really appreciate the garden and outside space. The house was very clean, tidy and well presented and it was in a great location for visiting Chatsworth House, Bakewell and Matlock, along with all the other delights that Derbyshire has to offer.

I've given it 4 stars as the fridge in the kitchen was very small considering the house could hold up to 8 people and we struggled for space and the sofa bed was uncomfortable to sit on and could possibly do with a bit of a revamp.

Also we couldn't get the tumble dryer to dry our towels but this could have been used error!

The owner's dogs came to visit us most days which, as a dog loving family, we didn't mind but I'm not sure if this would be a negative if you didn't like dogs!

All in all though, a lovely cottage which I would recommend to families.

Very well appointed and comfortable cottage in a good location

The cottage has been thoughtfully prepared with good kitchen equipment, freeview TV, bathrobes and a hairdryer in the main bedroom, great sheets and lots of games etc. Our stay was very comfortable and visiting Chatsworth was incredibly easy. Only criticism would be the internet which didn't work!
