Cottage nr Whittingham Alnwick, Northumberland, England

Offering spacious accommodation, this property, just 6 miles from Alnwick, enjoys beautiful views across open countryside. Set in it's own lawned garden surrounded by farmland the cottage is privately situated and well equipped. The abundance of light from the large picture windows lets you enjoy the views. Ideally suited to the country lover for a truly relaxing holiday. Well positioned to explore the Cheviot hills, the historic Market town of Alnwick. Rothbury, the capital of Coquetdale is a lovely rural town with delightful shops and riverside walks with the beautiful National Trust property of Cragside House and Gardens only six miles away. The Scottish Borders are within easy reach too, as are the wonderful castles and Heritage coastline with the wide expanses of sandy beaches.

Wonderful holiday

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful holiday at Lowfield. The cottage is simple and homely and was very well suited to the three small children in our party who loved the toys provided. It's very safe for adventurous toddlers. The views are spectacular and the cottage itself was cosy and clean. It's also a great location, with easy access to Alnwick but in a lovely rural setting. We will definitely hope to return!
