Perfect setting. Everything we needed. Brilliant hosts
This is a brilliant location, surrounded by fields and hills, with horses, cattle and sheep grazing, while hares and pheasants appear from time to time.
Just a few miles from Alnwick, it is perfectly situated between the AONB coast and the Northumbria National Park. Jane and her family are excellent hosts, with just the right level of attentiveness.
We need to come back, to revisit our favourite places, and go to the ones we didn't have time to fit in.
lovely cosy cottage with very thoughtful and welcoming hosts.
Very warm cosy cottage in beautiful countryside with beautiful views. The owners were very kind, thoughtful and welcoming. The area is full of wonderful places to visit, both in the country and on the coast.
Thank you so much Anne lovely to meet you and that you enjoyed wonderful Northumberland and our cottage Jane
We had a wonderful holiday at Lowfield. The cottage is simple and homely and was very well suited to the three small children in our party who loved the toys provided. It's very safe for adventurous toddlers. The views are spectacular and the cottage itself was cosy and clean. It's also a great location, with easy access to Alnwick but in a lovely rural setting. We will definitely hope to return!
