About Dave and Jennie Wookey
Taking early retirement from a career in art and design we moved to Frayssinet in 1980s, purchasing this small property in the early 1990s. As we live in the village we are on hand to deal with the day to day running of the property, and give advice on activities and places to visit.
Dave and Jennie Wookey purchased this Cottage in 1989
Why Dave and Jennie Wookey chose Frayssinet
It was a property we fell in love with as being the ideal holiday home filled with charm and character. It has an inglenook fire place that surely was never intended for a small cottage, this intrigued us. Not to big yet not to small for a cottage is secluded but not isolated.

The property and location were absolutely perfect, and the hosts, Jenny and Dave, couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a wonderful time in Fraysinnet, and it was a perfect base to explore the beautiful regions of Le Lot and the Dordogne. We will definitely be recommending this charming cottage to our friends and family.
A CHARMING PLACE
WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY IN THIS SWEET COTTAGE IN A PEACEFUL VILLAGE. THERE WAS EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR OUR STAY AND EVERYTHING WORKED. THE BED WAS CLEAN AND WONDERFULLY COMFORTABLE AND WE ENJOYED SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE EVENING WITH A GLASS OF WINE. PLENTY OF LOCAL INFORMATION AT HAND IN THE COTTAGE, AND ITS A GOOD BASE FOR SIGHTSEEING THE LOCAL AREA. JENNIE AND DAVE WERE EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, AND MADE OUR VISIT VERY SPECIAL. WE LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING VERY SOON.
