21 Island Street is a lovely period fisherman's holiday cottage, perfectly located next to the beautiful Salcombe Estuary, 50 metres from the waters edge and a 2 min level walk to the centre of town.

This delightful cottage has been our family bolt hole for over 80 years, and is a great destination for family beach holidays or grown-up escapes, with the nearby pristine beaches, epic coastal walks, and Salcombe's cosy pubs and excellent restaurants.

The cottage will be immaculately presented for your arrival. We provide crisp bed linen and bath towels, and beds will be made up and ready for your stay. We make sure we are there to welcome all guests at the beginning of their stay

the cottage has been in the owners family since the 30's as it was originally his grandfathers holiday cottage. They lived in Plymouth ! Now it is a treasured cottage with association of many great memories for every one in their family from all generations. We at The Salcombe Property started to look after it this year and can't wait to welcome you for your stay

Notes on accommodation: arrival after 3pm, departure by 10.30am Outside: There is a sweet communal court yard. This can be used for BBQ's etc. at the back of the house. Its not big but an area you can sit out in a chair and have a coffee in the morning sunshine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / : Fresh Bed Linen and bath towels provided meet and greet service can be arranged

Great little cottage

Perfect small cottage for the three of us. Great location with a very short walk to the middle of Salcombe and the ferries to South Sands and across the estuary to Mill Bay. Perfect weather too for a weeks sailing?

A charming fisherman's cottage, refurbished to a very high standard. Very quaint and bijou.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage was perfectly situated with just a two minute walk to the main Salcombe high street. We stayed for a week with our dog and the cottage was more than adequate for us, beautifully decorated and very light and airy.

Salcombe is well renowned for its estuary which is a perfect place for Sailing, Fishing, Surfing, and exploring the cliff walks whilst enjoying the restaurants, Pubs and Bars.


The closest beaches are only a short walk in to town (5 mins) and then a 3 min ferry to the other side of the estuary. Or you can drive to the mouth of the estuary and enjoy North or South Sands.
