Dan, Neil, Becci & Si "Thank you for a lovely place to end a year and start another. Thanks also for helping us to find the saucepans (under the secret drawer under the oven). Apologies for the several fire alarms - we didn't even burn the sausages! The cottage was lovely and cosy and we've had a lovely trip."
Rachel James Aaron & Austin "a beautiful and most intricate cottage - wonderfully restored to a high standard. We enjoyed a lovely walk on Christmas Day and would also recommend a visit to Brockhole which we did on Boxing day. We had some gorgeous photos of Windermere and thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride there. We are certain that we will visit again. Thank you for all your help and recommendations, we felt very welcome.
The Locker family "Our first stay at the Lakes, we didn't know what to expect but we couldn't have asked for a cosier cottage! Ourselves, our two teenage children and our dog have been on some of the most wonderful walks ....
Loved the cottage, it was so quaint and the photos online didn't do it as much justice as in reality.
The garden and setting was idyllic. Cottage was furnished in rustic style in keeping. Very clean and tidy
