Hi, I have converted this barn over the last few years. I find it a really good place to stay and relax. Its been a good retreat for me and I am now letting others use it as a holiday rental. There is so much going on in the area. The beaches are clean and plentiful, and around the summer time there is always something going on. I have travelled to various countries but find this place a good place to stay.
J Jackson purchased this barn in 2002
This barn is a great retreat for relaxing. Quiet in a rural area but close enough to amenities and sight seeing.
There is plenty to see and do.
Its is easy to get to either from the ferry at St Malo or by plane from Dinard Airport, which is why we bought it.
The barn is south facing and allows plenty of sunshine.
The barn is on a small hamlet of farm buildings.
When I visit, I like to go local festivals which are held throughout the summer, with villages focusing on gastronomical dishes, such a moules, gallettes and also historical medieval themes.
If you like antique collecting there are antique fairs and car boots where you can pick up unusual ornaments.
St Malo is about half an hour away, and a great place to go to, and spend a day at.
It has a good selection of restaurants, shops with walls.
There are also some great beaches, especially the pop up pool.
There is so much there I have not had enough time to explore.
I have explored other parts of France and find this place to be a good one.
Really great location for exploring the north coast of Brittany.
Quiet location with some land around the property, very relaxing.
