At only 170 yards to the beach 'Conjunto El-Convento' is a pretty apartment in an attractive garden complex with the added bonus of a secured front gates and underground parking, these extra elements all help lead to a great family getaway in a safe environment with easy 'shady' parking.

The apartment has been designed to be light and airy and the focal point of most rooms is the entrance via sliding patio doors onto a great terrace which is designed and located to be sunny or shady depending as to which part you sit on.

There are 3 great size bedrooms, 2 twin and 1 double and 2 very nice bathrooms.

It is a modern style build but designed in a traditional Spanish style, hence it is pleasant to be indoors or of course on the patio and the mature communal gardens are great for allowing even more space and soaking up the sun.

The big added bonus for peak times is that you also have free underground parking.

3 Minutes to the beach: This large apartment really is only 170 yards from the beach and you can reach the Mediterranean in 3 minutes.

Once on the beach you can walk along to Torrox if desired, or come back onto the promenade.

The beaches rarely get over busy and also have shower facilities, play areas for the children and keep fit sections as well.

Great for Exploring the Area: The Beauty of El Morche is that it peacefully located for you to be able to relax but also in a convenient area for you to drive along the coast and take in the busier resorts such as Nerja with its famous caves, which is only 8 km away or take in the much under explored city of Malaga, only 40 minutes away.

There is also a great value bus service along the coast as well.

Inland are many unspoilt 'blanco' villages with the most famous being Frigliana with it's hilltop cafe's and splendid vista's.

For the more adventurous you can drive to your hearts content up into the unexplored 'Campo' villages such as the wonderfully unspoilt Comares and also the likes of Riogordo with it's famous Easter Fiesta.

  • All 3 bedrooms are modern and stylish and although the bedroom with the en suite has a 2 single beds, there is full flexibility as they all a great size and decorated to a high specification. One of the bedrooms even has it's own terrace !! There is plenty of hanging space and bedrooms have a great Mediterranean feel about them as does the whole building, which although it is modern the style is rustic Spanish and very calming to stay in.

Notes:
This lovely modern apartment is big and spacious and very secure as it sits within a secure gated complex, hence ideal for children with its communal garden and also for families where the grand parents will feel safe. The wonderful added extra facility of underground secure parking which also helps to shade the cars during the peak of summer. We can for a token fee also include travel cots and high chairs for the younger members of the family.

Fab apartment

Conjunto el Convento - we have just returned after 10 days in the

glorious sunshine. Apartment is huge and fully equipped. Beach just a

short stroll and we had a lovely relaxing holiday with wine only 2

euros a bottle! Very cheap place to eat out and socialize as it's off

the main tourist areas. Great market in Torrox costa just a 15 min

walk along the beach. Highly recommended. Debbie the owners Daughter

was brilliant and very helpful, offering us transport to the airport.

Great spacious apartment well located

What a great find, in a great position and very quiet. Thanks to Debbie for meeting us and showing us around. This apartment is so spacious, you could lose yourself down the corridor!, It have everything you needed and some. The beds were really comfy and all the rooms were spacious, light and airy. The patio was enormous and lovely for the afternoon sun. Plenty of bars along the sea front and great to mix with the Spanish locals. We didn't need to use the car at all. I definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, especially families because of the amount of room there is, such good value, can't wait to visit again in September 2013. Pauline Dave and Charlie

Great apartment/beach location

This spacious, modern apartment is ideally located right across from the beach! The apartment is well furnished and provides all the comforts you need including a lovely terrace which looks out into the courtyard.

There is a smaller terrace to the rear if you're looking for a more private outside space.

The complex is ideally located along a nice stretch of coast so that a short drive would take to to Nerja or other nice spots. Lots of nice quiet beach spots along the road too although the beach across the road was rarely busy so that we felt it was our own beach!

Not a lot in the way of bars/restaurants within a short walk but plenty a short drive. I would happy return to this beachside location for a break.

A Wonderful Relaxing Holiday Base

Right from my first enquiry to the ever attentive David & Jacqui regarding the availability of this apartment, through the booking process right up to being greeted at the gated entrance by the helpful & charming Pat the start to our holiday couldn’t have been more simple or stress free.

What a glorious find! Given the demographic of our party (Octogenarian Granny, Mum/Dad & 11yr old son) this ground floor apartment is fantastically spacious & airy, allowing everyone adequate privacy and personal space of their own, the two bathrooms essential having been designated girls/boys. The cool shaded patio area looks straight into the heart of the typical Andalucian/Moorish enclosed courtyard where as dusk falls & the evening cools the resident’s children play while family meals are prepared providing a marvellous background chatter that firmly reminds you that you are in Spain.

On the corner next to the gated entrance is a friendly well stocked shop for everyday bread, milk etc while the larger supermarkets are in nearby Torrox Costa, a short drive or bus ride away. For those with a car there is a most useful underground car park with direct access into the apartments while for those without there is a good regular bus service that travels up & down the coast.

We alternated between eating at the apartment & exploring El Morche’s various tapas bars and beach fronted restaurants, all easily reached within a leisurely 5 -10 minute stroll, depending on whether one was coming or going. The places we favoured were those most popular with the locals, each offering a variety of delicious fresh fare (especially fish & seafood) at remarkable value; on our last night we really pushed the boat out to be presented with a bill for 46euros. (approx £36 for four people)

The apartment is well equipped with everything one needs for a relaxing holiday - beach umbrella’s, sun lounger’s & an abundance of towels while our 11yr old was delighted that satellite TV was on offer. Upon arrival, as with any unfamiliar environment, we had a couple of minor hiccups but these were swiftly & unobtrusively taken care of by the ultra efficient Debbie who, as the previous reviewer points out, is also a wealth of helpful local information.

We will be passing on our highest recommendations for this apartment, its location and the helpful service offered by everyone involved to our family and friends and we will certainly be looking to return.

Excellent apartment in great location.

This lovely apartment was a great base for exploring a very unspoilt part Andalucia, it was great for our large family due to it being secure and away from the main road, but the wonderful added bonus was that from the front gate you could get to the beach in a couple of minutes.

It was a lot bigger than we expected and gave us plenty of room to stretch out and eating outside on the lovely patio was a must.

The booking process was very easy and Debbie who welcomed us and has great local knowledge was a real added bonus.

We can't wait to come back and have recommended this great place to all our friends and family.

El Morche is a lovely resort located at the end of the busier seaside town of Torrox and the apartment is less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, this area not only boasts more blue sky days than any other part of the Mediterranean, but also is less than 1 hour from Malaga with its culture, fiestas and of course airport and less than 20 minutes from Nerja with it's famous caves and wonderful cafe atmosphere all around the 'Balcony of Europe'. The stretch of beach right opposite the apartment is sparse and unspoiled and even during peak months there is plenty of room to play or relax.El Morche has enough cafe bars and small supermarkets to allow this apartment to be a place you can holiday without a car, as a bus service is available along the coast road, but of course if you want to explore the many unspoilt parts of Spain that lie just inland then a car is essential.Within 90 minutes you can also visit Granada with its world famous Alhambra Palace.

Golf: Bavaria golf course less than 20 minutes away.

Ski: Sierra Nevada only a 70 minute drive away.
