Beautiful spacious property in Aviemore
The house is on a quiet estate to the north of Aviemore village. It is about a twenty minute walk / 5 minute drive to the pubs, restaurants and shops in the centre.
The property is very spacious with four good sized bedrooms, one with ensuite and two additional bath / shower rooms. It has a large well equipped kitchen / diner, and a reasonably sized, cosy lounge with wood burner. The gas central heating keeps the entire property very comfortably heated.
The utility room has laundry washer and drier and also a large microwave oven. The integral garage is used for storage, but there are a couple of bikes available for guests use.
All of the facilities were in good clean working condition and we had no problems at all with anything.
Highlight of the property for some of our party was the hot tub in the garden. This is a recent addition to the property and the owners were very keen to see that it was being used properly and chemical levels were correct etc. This was not in anyway intrusive and was appreciated by the 'Hottubbers'.
Overall the property was well above our expectations, and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable long weekend there. We would happily recommend it for anyone requiring a large and well maintained property for a family or friends holiday in a great part of Scotland.

We were a party of 8 adults, 2 children and 1 dog for 3 nights. Very well presented and set out. Fantastic facilities all round from all the kitchen equipment to the bedrooms and hot tub. Plenty robes and towels. Great garden space for the dog. Lots of toys for the children to explore. Avril the owner is very easy to communicate with. Close to Aviemore centre. Couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend.

Hector's House comfortably accommodates 10 people.we were impressed by the fully equipped kitchen and range of entertainment for both adults and children. (Boardgames,TVs,wifi, books and gaming)
This home was PERFECT! I could not be happier with our stay. We have a large family and everyone had a bed, plenty of bathrooms and very well maintained! We would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone we know!
Lovely house with great facilities
Lovely house with plenty room and the hot tub really makes it. Gas BBQ is a bonus too. Only downside was a doggy smell from the cushions and beanbag in the living room. Would recommend it though.

Set in the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is an ideal base for both relaxing and adventure activities. Great dog walking on the doorstep. Plenty of facilities for the whole family including local swimming pools, soft play, crazy golf, waterslides and roller coaster in forest setting at Landmark Centre (Spring and Summer only). The area offers a range of activities including Mountain biking for all abilities on both purpose built courses and abundant local tracks, kayaking and rafting on the River Spey, windsurfing on Loch Morlich and Loch Insch, skiing on and off piste, hillwalking.
Loch Morlich offers a beautiful and spacious sandy beach set in pinewood location with breathtaking views of Cairngorm Mountain at freshwater Loch Morlich. It is easily accessible by a 10 minute drive or, for the more adventurous, a cycle on one of the forest tracks (1 - 1.5 hours). There is a boathouse on the beach which offers light refreshment and kayak/windsurf hire.
Aviemore is easily accessible by road, rail and air. By road the village is 2.5-3 hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and enjoys a regular rail service. Inverness Airport is located 40 miles to the North and can be accessed by an easy drive.

The cost is £225 per week and £150 for a weekend or short stay of up to 3 days. There is £25 charge for bringing your dogs. We allow up to 2 dogs (please advise us at the time of enquiring). We offer full weeks, multiple weeks and short breaks of more than 2 nights. We may be able to accommodate short breaks during busy periods depending on other bookings. We can be flexible with arrival and departure dates, dependant on other bookings. Normal arrival time is 4pm and departure time 10am. An early arrival or late departure may be possible and would cost £25 if available
