YOU NEED TO BE A UK RESIDENT TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY. IT SLEEPS 4 ADULTS and 1 CHILD (FOLDAWAY BED). Al Hamra Village, Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is 45-minutes travelling by car from Dubai and it is the most northern emirate in the UAE. It is not as developed as Dubai which is its appeal. Indeed many people from Dubai now come to Holiday and for Weekends in RAK, because it is more relaxed and less developed - they still have here Camels visible from the roadside. Our property is part of the Marina Buildings, located on the 4th floor, with direct sea views, and has a fantastic aspect from its long balcony. The apartment has been furnished to a luxurious standard with a quality seating and bedding. Al Hamra Village is a 5* Resort complex which is security controlled. It has some amazing nearby hotels, local shopping mall, 18-hole golf course, fine dining and many nearby restaurants, shops (including Spinney's - Waitrose Supermarket).
Mark and Carmel are a professional couple, with young children. We pride ourselves on the quality of the accommodation which is also our home abroad.
Mark is a company director, and Carmel has trained as an interior designer. This is reflected in the colours,fabrics and furnishings of the apartment which we feel are unique and unrivalled elsewhere.

The apartment is in a great location directly facing the beach, the warm sea for swimming and the resort is quality and in a superb location. It is also quiet, secure, no evidence of crime and the weather is fantastic!
You have access to a number of swimming pools the Marina Bar & Restaurant. You also have a floodlight Golf Course all part of the Resort which makes for a great holiday!
We have travelled to Dubai many times, first in 2002, when this was like a desert. Today Dubai is very busy and with many high rise buildings and a fast pace of life. RAK by contrast is 45 mins away. It is much quieter, not as busy and not as many high rise buildings. Indeed this is regulated. Many people from Dubai now come to RAK for a holiday! Our view is that RAK has become the new Marbella!!
Convenience of being by the beach or poolside during the day and choice of eating in the apartment or at the many nearby restaurants/hotels. The apartment is a home from home and has a great feel to it. The Friday brunch at the Al Hamra Fort Hotel is quite an experience as well!
This is the second time that my friends and I have visited RAK and spent time in this wonderful apartment .
And I have just booked to go back in June.
The complex is secure and safe with all the amenities you would need nearby, the adjacent marina is a great place to go both during the day and for a lovely dinner in the evening. The staff in both the complex and marina are helpful friendly and welcoming.
The apartment itself is perfect, beautifully decorated, very well appointed with everything you need and the balcony especially in the evening is a joy, watching the sunset over the sea with a G&T in hand - what could be better.
Mark and Carmel have left lots of information in the apartment which is really helpful and the process of receiving and returning keys is simple and efficient.
Overall a fantastic place with wonderful accommodation and great amenities.

Very relaxing, enjoyable week in this well located flat. Few minutes walk to beaches, pools and playgrounds and a well stocked mini mart. Lots to do in RAK, am looking forward to going again!
Perfect place for a chill out with guaranteed winter sunshine. The apartment was a great location, spacious, nicely furnished, well equipped, in good condition and clean. Although north west facing, the balcony was overlooking the beach and was a great location for shade during the daytime and for watching the sunset in the evening.
The pool was very close & the beach just a short walk across the marina road. The nearby marina was a great place for breakfast and dinner, or just for drinks and watching sky sports. The nearby 'Waitrose' supermarket sold everything you needed, with lovely meat & fish if you fancied cooking your own meals.
Mark provided lots of helpful information before we even left the UK.
Would definitely recommend for a relaxing time providing you don't expect any hectic evening entertainment.
Myself,wife and our two teenage daughters have just returned from two amazing weeks in this magnificent luxurious apartment. The setting is truly stunning as are all the fixtures and fittings and yes the views and especially the sunsets from the fantastic balcony are spectacular. The marina complex is also very impressive with excellent security. Quite often we had the large pool, beach and beautiful Arabian Sea to ourselves. There are several restaurants on the marina to try. The staff are all very welcoming and the food excellent. Next door to the apartment is a convenience store that we used everyday. The fresh bread was lovely. They also do delivery. There are lots of places to visit in RAK we went on a desert safari, mountain safari, shopping, Iceland water park, Dubai, and visited RAK aviation centre where we all flew over RAK. Taxis are very cheap and it is easy to get around. We must also thank Mark and Carmel who have been extremely helpful with all our questions before our holiday and provided us with lots of information about the area and apartment which all helped to make our holiday unforgettable. We cannot wait to return and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Shopping in the Souks in Dubai is also probably a must on an excursion to or from Dubai Airport, for Spices, Gold, Material, Clothing, Bags and Jewellery.
The Apartment has direct beach and sea access with immediate views, it is just a few metres away - please see the pictures posted.
Travel by taxi from Dubai International Airport (DXB) is 45 mins away. Local taxi hire is cheap for short journeys. Car hire can be arranged through nearby hotels or from the airport or again locally in RAK.
The Al Hamra Village Mall is just 5 mins in a taxi (approx £3 cost). The Iceland water park is also approx just 5 mins away.
The centre of RAK is 10 mins away (approx £8 cost). It has a mix of shops, markets and a further 3 shopping malls, plus a number of nearby hotels. One of our favourites to visit is the Hilton Resort & Spa!
Dubai with its many Malls, Hotels and attractions is just 45 mins away (approx cost of £35).
Nearest supermarket is in the building next door to the Apt, called Zoosh. The nearby Mall also has a large Spinneys Supermarket (part of Waitrose) in the Al Hamra Mall. At the Marina is a duty free store that sells spirits and beers. Alcohol is available in the Marina and other nearby hotels but not in all restaurants.

Deposit of £250 required at the time of booking (the Deposit is not refundable). A Security Deposit is required of £350 (payable with the final fees. It will be returned within 14-days once inspected assuming no damages at the property). Full Payment to be made within 10-weeks of holiday. This is our home in RAK and we would strongly suggest this is a place to chill/relax for families and professional people. Please note we are based in the UK for key access and proof of residency is required.
Normally a Saturday, and access from 3pm and departures by 11am, but we will be flexible where possible to accommodate differents days, changeover and varying flight times. Please let us know your requirements and drop us a note.
Notes on prices:
Please note minimum rentals of 7-days, normally Sat-Sat changeover. However, we will try to cater for varying flight times and days (please drop us a note with your requirements). In addition 10, 12 days etc are acceptable and we can apportion the weekly charge.
Local Maid Service, Cleaning etc can be provided - additional fees for this are paid locally by the RENTER (approx £50).
