House in Rock, Cornwall, England - Tomhara Enjoys A Peaceful Secluded Position But Is Only 50 Metres From The Beach

The house has been built "upside down" with the main living area above to take advantage of the magnificent position. The open plan kitchen/dinning room opens on to a large sun deck, and there is a private, secluded garden, perfect for families and entertaining. The accommodation comprises of six bedrooms, a large kitchen/eating area, double-ended sitting room with log fire and study area. The house has two large bathrooms, a separate wet room with additional shower and two further washrooms. Rock offers wonderful outdoor activities with great beaches, watersports fishing golf and many pubs and restaurants situated on the doorstep. We allow up to 2 dogs at the owners discretion and charge £50 per dog

Special interest holidays:

Sailing, waterskiing, canoeing, paddleboarding, kayaking, kitesurfing, banana boat riding, fishing and beach and sand-dune walking all within 50 m of house. Surfing less than a mile away at Polzeath and speed boat trips and cycle hire across the water on the ferry in Padstow. There is a spectacular coastline further down the estuary for more demanding walks and horse riding a few miles away at St Kew.

Coast/Beach:

Rock beach is 50m down the road by foot and the beaches of Daymer Bay and Polzeath are a good walk away or a 5 minute drive along beautiful beaches and cliff paths.

Travel:

Car necessary.

The nearest airport is Newquay (23 miles) and the station is Bodmin Parkway (16 miles) both of which are about a half hour drive from the house. A car would be highly recommended and could be hired from the airport or organised to meet you at the station.

Distances:

We are about 600m from the excellent and varied shops of Rock and about 10 minutes by car to Wadebridge.

Further Details:

Location Information: There are miles of sandy beaches, coves and dunes to explore and it is the major water sport centre on the North Cornish Coast with sailing, water skiing, canoeing, wind surfing, fishing etc. Boats can be hired from just below the house (max 100 metres) for all purposes including waterskiing, sailing, fishing and bird watching. All your daily shopping needs can be met in the village. The shops are about three minutes away by car. Polzeath is an excellent surfing beach and is a 5 minute drive from Rock. You will find many famous restaurants in the area including Rick Stein's in Padstow. Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant is located at nearby Watergate Bay and Nathan Outlaw's restaurant is in Rock itself along with many pubs bars and restaurants in both Rock and the surrounding area The Black Tor ferry operates year round during day light hours between Rock and Padstow and there is also a water taxi available in the evenings.

There off-street parking, sandpit, BBQ. The downstairs bedrooms open on to the garden and the house is not overlooked. Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer, hanging space and wet room with shower and toilet. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house will be cleaned at the beginning and end of your stay and you can rent bed linen at an additional cost. The beds will be made up for your arrival. Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Friday - the house will be available for occupation at 3pm and must be vacated by 10am the following week to allow the cleaners time to get the house up to the standard that I sure you will enjoy.
