A two storied home set in the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We have a horizon view of the sea and sunsets to remember. Enjoy the gas fireplace in the sunken living room after a day on the beach, cook up something special in the gourmet kitchen, have a toast of wine found among the many wineries, take a long soak in the master bath's spa you have arrived at Vista Seas. Can't help but love it!
We are from California and keep our primary home there along the Central Coast. Our holidays take us to our home in Brittany in the spring months and then off to our log cabin in Canada on our private island in the St.Lawrence river. We love to travel! We were able to retire somewhat early in our mid 50's after raising our 5 children. Instead of downsizing, we chose to up size and try as many adventures as we can. My husband is wonderful at any household DIY task and so our homes are rich in detail and varied but all charming and in character to the region we are living in.
We designed and built this property ourselves. We loved the dome concept of using less materials, being environmentally friendly and able to have high walls of windows for light, yet be structurally strong.
We spent a full day on site looking for primary views, and effective relief from the long days of coastal sunshine. This was a terrific use of our time as sunsets are framed in oaks by our bank of 20 foot windows and the sea breezes cool the house with an open window, no air conditioning needed. The hand troweled plaster walls and Travertine floors act as a heat sink in our cooler winter months, keeping the house comfortable all year long.
The rolling hillside of oaks, pines and palms offer a green background and the horizon view of the sea is always a glimmer of blue.
Wake up to bird song, take a coffee out to the deck to watch hawks soar and the day brighten in the hills. We offer privacy and yet conveniences.
Vista Seas is just minutes from several beaches, whether dune 4 wheeling is your passion, surfing the waves, boogie boarding with kids or just beach walking miles of unobstructed sand.
The many restaurants of Old Arroyo Grande or Pismo Beach are no more than a 5 minute drive. For shopping the Outlet Mall along HWY 101 at Pismo Beach.
Then there are the many wineries to stop and take a sip many to list!
Our California history here is complete with one of the first Missions found in San Luis Obispo, and up the coast is the wonder of San Simeon's Hearst Castle.

Also just minutes away is Pismo Beach where you can enjoy a walk on the long sandy shore or stroll along its long boardwalk and pier to chat with fishermen trying their luck. Rent Surf boards or boogie boards for beach fun, or a kayak to explore the kelp beds and rocky coastline and watch sea otters bobbing in the sunshine.
