This ground floor apartment is beautifully furnished and laid out for open plan living. The dining area leads on to a spacious covered patio suitable for alfresco dining surrounded by a well stocked and established tropical garden. There is ease of accessibility throughout this ground floor accommodation, garden and outdoor facilities. There is a well equipped kitchen also a range of entertainment facilities in the lounge which includes TV, radio, DVD player, hi-fi player and of course WI-FI and telephone facilities. Bedrooms are colourfully furnished and are all air-conditioned. There are ceiling fans throughout and where required there are mosquito nets to all the windows. Full sets of linens, towels and beach towels are supplied. There are supermarkets, restaurants within easy reach of the property and there is a choice of fine dining and local cuisine. Mullins beach, 2 minutes away, has a full variety of water sports available.
We are a couple of young at heart UK retirees who have been visiting Barbados for nearly 25 years. The island was initially of interest to us because of the obvious factors of climate and some of the world's finest beaches. But the annual calendar of events is packed with sport activities which include cricket, tennis, lots of water sports, diving etc. Similarly there is no shortage of entertainment and we never miss the reggae, jazz or Holders Hill festivals.
Horticultural interests are well represented too and the society here are often winners at the annual Chelsea flower show. We hold memberships to the well established National Trust which allow us to attend such activities as the annual Open house where you get an opportunity to visit plantation houses and some fine real estate.

Mullins is a beautiful part of the island with lovely specimen and well established gardens. Owners take a keen interest in gardening and there is no shortage of well landscaped gardens. The beaches, such as Mullins and Gibbes, are some of the best on the island and fully fit such descriptions as stunning, long stretches of platinum sands.
Although very residential, peaceful and quiet we are in close proximity to Holetown and Speightstown both of which are lovely in different ways with the latter offering a more heritage flavour. You can also find supermarkets, banks, fine restaurants, sport activities in both these towns. A luxury mall ( Limegrove) has been constructed in Holetown and houses 2 of the finest cinemas I have been to plus all the famous brand names Louis Vuitton, Cartier

Some of the features of the property include well established gardens which offer privacy and interest. It attracts many fine species of birds ( humming birds, yellow finches etc). The freeform swimming pool has brought our guests a lot of pleasure and it is unique in that it is not shared. The pool has a fine waterfall feature which offers a soothing and relaxing sound.
The property is conveniently located with respect to the several fine golf courses on the island and at Apes Hill there is a polo field which is a bout a 10 minute drive away.

I can't recommend this property highly enough. Brilliantly placed 50 yards from Mullins Beach with its own great pool - we found it ideal for some much needed peace and quiet.
Very clean and easily comfortable it sits between Speightstown and Holetown (a 5 min bus ride from either) and just over the road from the fantastic Mullins Beach.
Lenox the owner is a delight to deal with and on the one occasion we needed a little extra help was more than willing to go that extra mile to make sure our stay was all we wanted.
We sorted fresh food out for ourselves most of the time but there are some hidden gem restaurants nearby - all passed on by a useful yellow folder left at the property for all visitors.
The greatest compliment I can give is that we're already planning when we're going back next time...
This year will be our third visit to Que Sera and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The position is perfect just two minutes from Mullins Bay beach and easy walking distance to local restaurants. Que Sera is located between Speightstown and Holetown both easily accessible where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, local and high end shopping etc.
The villa is surrounded by a lovely tropical garden complete with private swimming pool. Don't be surprised to see green monkeys passing through.
The accommodation is comfortable, the bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned and the kitchen well equipped. There is everything you will need from a great vacation home, including WiFi and TV. Our favourite spot is the large covered patio where we eat all our meals and relax with a drink.
The owners, Lenox and Maureen are great and we have got to know them very well over the last three years.
We rent a car as we enjoy every corner of the island however there are frequent buses passing by at the end of the road.
We stayed at Que Sera for 9 days and it was utter paradise. The apartment is beautiful - wonderful, comfortable beds, great facilities, VERY effective air conditioning (which you will need!) incredible pool, and.......probably a 90 second walk from maybe the nicest beach on the island. In case that wasn't enough a family of shy but very friendly monkeys hopped through the garden every day just before sunset. Which was hilarious. The apartment is extremely easy to find, and is a very short drive away from Holetown where there is plenty to do and plenty to eat. There's also a big supermarket there, which is ideal as the apartment has a great kitchen and a lovey outside eating area. Que Sera is everything you could wish for from Barbados.
Holidaying in a new destination can be quite daunting. However, the information provided by the owners was 'spot on' with how we found the property and the Island. Close enough to the beach but still with the peace of our own space , pool and garden. Close enough also to visit places on the local buses ( a must do experience in itself, well at least once!!) if you weren't hiring a car.
Very friendly owners, who were in residence at the same time as us and who introduced us to 'home made Rum Punch!!
Barbados may be small in size but there is so much to see and enjoy.
Mullins Beach ( 200 metres away) enjoys one of the finest stretches of platinum sands associated with Barbados's west coast. Restaurant and Spa is 2 mins walk away. Quieter, shaded Gibbes beach is 5 mins walk away.
Snorkelling, water skiing is about 15 minutes away.
Other fine west coast beaches are located at Paynes Bay (3 miles away), Paradise beach ( 4 miles away). There are a number of fine south coast beaches and a stop at Crane beach which includes body boarding is worth while.
Grantley Adams airport is 8 miles away and would require a taxi or car rental.
Bridgetown harbour is about 5 miles from the property.
We recommend a car rental particularly to drive to some of the stunning scenery on the East coast of the island although the bus service is about 200 metres from the property and makes all of the above destinations easily accessible.
Speightstown is the second largest town after the capital Bridgetown. There are a couple of supermarkets and a selection of fine restaurants of international and local Bajan cuisine. A wide selection of various water sports are easily available.
Historical and popular Holetown is a couple of miles south of the property. Again there is an excellent choice of restaurants, bars, supermarket and duty free shopping. The newly opened Lime Grove mall also offers luxury shopping and a cinema.
Banks are located in both Holetown and Speightstown. There are facilities for gyms, spas, tennis in Holetown.

We suggest that you simultaneously take out a travel insurance at the time of booking to protect this payment in the event of a cancellation.
b. the full balance needs to be settled within 4 weeks of your arrival date
c. in the event of a cancellation 50% of the full balance would be refunded if the cancellation is within 24 to 14 days & 25% if it is within 13-00 days
d. RETURNABLE BREAKAGE deposit is required where the booking includes CHILDREN (under 15 years of age).
