About Sandy Brann

Had holiday home on Island for over 30 years, our children always loved their holidays on the Isle of Wight and we enjoyed life here beaches, cafes, bars and the people. When all the children had flown the nest we decided to move here and bought the house next door for our children with their children to enjoy. Now they are buying their own houses in Cowes so we can now let ours out to you.

Sandy Brann purchased this house in 2012

Why Sandy Brann chose Isle of Wight

We love Cowes because there is always something going on and the sea views are brilliant. There are so many places of interest in the Isle of Wight which are easily accessible from Cowes.

What makes this house unique

7 Melbourne Place is within easy walking distance of the town with its food shops, restaurants and pubs also walking distance of the yacht clubs.

For watching the yachts or lying in the sun the green is just a minute away and for the children to play.

Gurnard is 15 mins walk with its beach, children's play area and beach cafe.

The house was great and Sandy was very welcoming. It is great for families, with lots to do.

The house is well equipped with everything you need. The views across the Solent are amazing. The Needles, Osborne House are only a short drive away. Highly recommend

great location

  • 5 of 5

This is a great property and very well situated, and the views over the Solent are amazing.

Overall the house was well stocked and lovely to have sweets for the kids and essentials like milk, bread and butter provided

Cowes is a great base for the IOW, and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking in this area.

Hope to be back at some stage in the near future!

Great location but needs a bit of TLC

  • 2 of 5

Excellent location, comfortable house, but beds in twin rooms inadequate. Put me ups & day beds of poor quality. It would be better to invest in better mattresses, the only other point is that the bedroom furniture was full of their personal belongings, we lived out of suitcases all week, & with a wedding to go to, it proved difficult, rust microwave and a dirty fridge with salad box missing!

Great stay!

  • 4 of 5

Sorry about the delay with this review Sandy but we have just got back to New Zealand!

7 Melbourne Place was our first holiday let of a 9 week trip to the UK & Europe. We loved our 3 night stay here, it was homely, comfortable , very well equipped & amazing value for money! The view was lovely & its closeness to Cowes was fabulous, we could walk in & out easily, usually via the gorgeous water front! My husband is an avid ship spotter & so he was in seventh heaven watching the large ships going past! :-)

Thanks Sandy for a great stay, we really enjoyed meeting you & your husband. Take care :-)
