Best Rental Yet

  • 5 of 5

We have rented many places through VRBO and outside sources and to date, this is one our favorites. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen we've seen at any rental. Totally equipped for large groups. We had 4 separate families and everyone had their own room and/or bed. Through every door we found another bedroom or space to lounge. The setting is marvelous and even at 40 degrees in January we took advantage of being on the water. We saw several bald eagles and even a jellyfish. The place was clean, decorated nicely and the pool table/air hockey table provided hours of entertainment. Whatever you do, don't pass up the massage chair.

Great house, great view, great owner, great time...

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this house with a large group for a few nights between Christmas and New Year's. The house is wonderful. Our group agreed that the house is even better than the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean well appointed for a large group. What impressed us the most was how well equipped the kitchen is (all of the cooking equipment, serving dishes, full spice cabinet, huge roll of tinfoil...everything that I would include in a kitchen that is ready to entertain a dozen people) and amazing access to a variety of boats (paddle boat, canoe, row boat....). It was so cool. Tom, the owner, is very responsive and obviously has his visitor's interests at heart.

The only down side is that there is very little in the surrounding area. There is a full-service grocery store about 15 minutes away, but not many real points of interest. It really doesn't matter though, the property is large and there are lots of fun things to do right at the house. We hope to come back soon.

Beautiful home on a beautiful setting!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here the week of Aug. 20-27, 2016 for our annual family vacation. Our group of 9 ranged in ages from 2 - 76. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out for alone/quiet time or all be together to laugh and play games. The property is situated on a creek to the back of the house, which was excellent for crabbing. The pier out front on the river was perfect for fishing. We had a wonderful time swimming in the pool, canoeing in the creek, playing air hockey/pool, and taking our boat out tubing and fishing. If you want to get away from all the stress of everyday life, this is the perfect place. Very quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend!!!

Couldn't ask for more!

  • 5 of 5

We came to Beau River for our Community Group retreat and couldn't have asked for more. The house was perfect! Tom and Debbie were helpful and responded quickly, before and during when we had questions. The house has a great lay out to spread out between rooms - there was something for everyone! Thank you so much!!! We will definitely be back.
