Lovely, quiet place to enjoy holiday with your family

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at Coombe View cottage and appreciated how well prepared for our arrival it was. I wish we could stay there longer to gaze at the coast and to enjoy having such a cosy base for our trips to countless places in Cornwall. Perfect place, cannot wait to go back there some time next year.

Fantastic location, fantastic lodge, great owners!

  • 5 of 5

This was our third visit to the same lodge... we have even tried to book again but unfortunately already booked on the dates required. The whole family love the lodge. It has everything you need and more for a great family break. But the iceing on the cake is the spectacular view from the patio doors!! Also the owners are great and have made us feel so very welcome. Thank you Roger and family!

Wonderful holiday

  • 5 of 5

The lodge is in an excellent location with beautiful views. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Lots of information regarding things to do, places to go, and plenty of games dvds and such like to amuse us when the weather wasn't so kind. Just like home from home!

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the complex had plenty to do during the day and evenings. The owners of the lodge were really informative and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We enjoyed ourselves so much we are hoping to go again soon.

Not even the 'Beast from the East' spoilt our stay.

  • 5 of 5

Arrived on a freezing but sunny day in the last week of February. The property had been set out to greet us with a lovely laid table and super comfy beds with hotel quality bedding.

The view from the terrace was fabulous and I could imagine in warmer weather how great it would be to sit there and watch the sunset.

Despite the bitter temperatures and the constant threat then arrival of snow, the fact that most of Cornwall and Devon was c'closed' until Easter we used the property as a base to re-visit long remembered places from childhood holidays and made the most of the quietness.

Having SKY television meant that on the cold, cold nights we could sit well wrapped up and catch up with our usual programmes.

Location wise, Coombe View was perfect- accessing the north and south was equally simple and the roads were excellent.

Would definitely recommend as a home from home retreat.

Well equipped, clean and well organised. Beautiful views.

  • 5 of 5

A really comfortable stay with everything we could possibly need on hand. Our 7 and 2 year old boys couldn't believe there was a TV in their room! Well situated for so many beautiful beaches and the on site pool was an added bonus - all park facilities were well maintained and clean and staff were really friendly. Views from the lounge windows were impressive, even in February. Thanks for a relaxing and enjoyable short break.
