Close to Ayamonte on the Costa de la Luz in Andalucia, the superb Isla Canela beach is a 15 minute drive away, The Algarve beaches and towns are also minutes away, so take the short drive to Portugal or take the ferry from Ayamonte. Play golf in Spain or Portugal. Fantastic opportunity for a two country holiday. Sun, sea or sand - relax or lots of activities. Restaurants, bars, tapas bars etc in town. Seville just over one hour's drive away. Faro airport only a 40 minute drive away - mostly motorway. Seville airport is less than two hours away.

The apartment: A luxury 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom,air conditioned apartment sleeps 6-8, on the exclusive golf resort of Costa Esuri. The apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen, lounge (with 3-seater sofabed) & dining area with double doors on to a large terrace & private garden. There are three spacious twin-bedded bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en-suite bathroom. The apartment is within a 10 minute walk to the 18 hole golf course and clubhouse. Just a 10 minute drive away is the picturesque town of Ayamonte with numerous shops, bars, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, etc. A good base from which to explore Spain, with wonderful towns, beaches & golf courses of the Algarve just across the river Guadiana. The magnificent beach at Isla Canela is a further 5 min drive away, next to Punta del Moral, a fishing village with good fish restaurants. Other nearby beaches are Isla Christina & Islantillla, or Monte Gordo in Portugal. An exceptional climate with 300+ days of sunshine every year

Golf: There is a top class 18 hole golf course set in beautiful countryside on site, and a 2nd golf course due to open this year. The club house is an approx 10min walk from the apartment where you can have a drink or meal. Golf courses at Isla Canela (Spain) and Castro Marim (Portugal) are a 10 min drive away. There are also many other courses within a 30min drive in Spain and Portugal. You can play a different course every day of the week: Isla Canela Golf - 18 hole par 72, approx 10min drive; Islantilla Golf, one of Europe's premier golf courses - 27 holes; El Rompido Golf - situated close to Huelva. Just across the border in Portugal: Castro Marim Golf - 18 hole, par 71 course; Benamor Golf - par 71, 18 hole course situated east of Faro; Quinta De Ria Golf - 18 hole, par 72 course with stunning views of the sea and mountains; and Quinta Da Cima Golf - 18 hole, par 72 course, located within the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.

Travel and distances: Faro airport is approx 40 min drive (all motorway). Seville airport is approx 1 hour 45 min drive (all motorway). Car hire is highly recommended. Hire cars can be collected from the airports.

Ayamonte town is just a 5 minute drive (4km) and has all you need. The nearest towns in Portugal are Monte Gordo or Vila Real de Santo Antonio which are a 10 min drive away - numerous beaches nearby. Faro 60km, 40 min drive. Huelva (nearest city) 60km. Donana National Park 85km. Seville 130km, 1 hour 15 min.

Bed linen, towels, bath mats and tea towels are provided, but guests should bring their own beach towels. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer supplied. Child's highchair and travel cot may be possible on request.. A parking space is available outside. This ground floor apartment is located at the edge of the site boundary, with the private garden looking out on to undeveloped and protected fields. The south and east facing garden covers the side and rear of the property, so it attracts the sun throughout the day. Two covered and tiled patio areas provide shade. Communal adult and children's pools just around the corner. Apartment usually available from 3pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by midday on departure day - but we will try to be as flexible as possible as we always try to meet our guests' needs. Price inclusive of all utilities and facilities.

Lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.

As a family of four we stayed at this apartment earlier in August. The apartment is in a lovely ground floor corner position across the road from the pool. You can't see the pool from the apartment but that was a plus point for us as the garden area is really private and peaceful. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped and there wasn't anything from home that we missed!!! The complex itself is very peaceful and at times we were the only people in and around the pool area!!! It made for a completely relaxing holiday. The outdoor space of the apartment is superb. It has both sun and shade throughout the day and was a great place to eat breakfast or chill out in the evening. Contact with the owners during booking and post holiday have been faultless. Claire who manages the apartment in resort was also lovely and most helpful.

The resort of Ayamonte is a short drive away. This is a very Spanish resort which is exactly what we were hoping for. There were very few British tourists so a basic command of Spanish is useful. We had some lovely food which will suit all budgets and tastes. The traditional Spanish Tapas bars are fantastic. Overall this was a fabulous holiday and we would highly recommend booking.

Stunning apartment in a great location.

Everything about this apartment suited our need. It is spacious, clean and the furnishings are of a very high standard. It is an ideal location for exploring the Huelva and the Algarve. It's great for golfers and families alike.

Well worth a visit!

This apartment is perfect! It's in a relaxing and quiet area.

Amazingly equipped and decorated- Fred & Patricia have thought of absolutely everything. Bill & Claire who provided the keys were extremely helpful - even when we arrived at 11pm on a Saturday night!

The facilities are great, there's a convenient little shop on site or the town of Ayamonte is only a 10 minute drive away. We were there in October but there were 3 open pools which seemed well cared for. The apartment itself has sun loungers and outside dining options for wherever the sun is shining!

Fred & Patricia have a file of information too which has everything you would ever need for local information.

A car is essential but well worth a visit for a chilled out break.

We'd definitely recommend this property & look forward to going back

Beautifully appointed apartment

Stayed for 10 nights in this gorgeous 3-bed apartment during mid-March 2014, and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The description of the property, whilst accurate, does not do it justice as the rooms are all very spacious, very tastefully furnished and fully equipped to make this a great home-from-home place to stay. The property has the benefit of a lovely, sweeping garden with a wide array of colours and smells to take in whilst sunbathing on the extensive patio, which catch the sun throughout the day, given its corner plot location. Nearby Ayamonte is a lovely town to explore being typical Spanish with lots of interesting walks and lovely restaurants catering for all tastes. The beautiful beaches of the Algarve are a short drive away, across the Portuguese border, a matter of minutes away. Thanks to Bill, the property manager for his help and assistance during my stay, always courteous and helpful. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending this property for a short or extended break away from UK and it's weather! Many thanks to Patricia and Fred for the welcome pack, and for all the useful info provided prior to the trip which was most helpful.

Apartment costa esuri, ayamonte

A wonderful, clean, tidy and extremely well equipped apartment. Sleeps 6 very comfortably with plenty of room for another 2 on a sofa bed. It feels like you have your own villa due to the location of the apartment and the extensive garden and patio areas. Lots of outdoor seating & dining space plus the added bonus of 4 sun loungers.

The owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating, providing flexible changeover days and times, which meant we could search for cheaper flight options.

Beautiful beaches and nearby towns in Portugal, with Tavira Island being our favourite place, fab beach, plenty of restaurants and bars.

The area is considerably cheaper than other parts of Spain, which meant we enjoyed it even more! Fred also recommended a friends apartment above theirs, which is great if there are a few of you.

I would recommend this to everyone I know, just contact Fred or Patricia and I'm sure they will be as helpful as they were with us.

We spent nearly 3 weeks in this lovely place. Beautiful garden, nice pool-area, lovely people around. We went with our children, 5, 7 and 14 years old, and they loved it. It takes about 10 minutes drive to the beach, and the charming town Ayamonte.

In the apartment, you can find information about resturantes, golf, shops, and other things which is nice to know.

We really would love to come back here.

Standard rental charges are for 4 guests. Other than for a baby in a travel cot, a charge of 10% of the rental will apply for each additional guest (maximum of 2). 30% Non-refundable deposit to confirm booking. Balance due 8 weeks before arrival. £150/€200 damage deposit also required - refundable two weeks after last day in apartment if no damage. Damage in excess of this deposit will be payable by the renter. For bookings within six weeks of the start date, full payment within 5 days by bank transfer will be required.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
