Sleeps 6. 3 bedroom villa.
The great advantage of the villa is the position. From here you overlook the whole area of Trapezaki. The villa offers plenty of space and comfort inside and out. The position of the villa is south facing so you benefit from the maximum hours of sunshine from the time it rises from behind the mountain until the late evening when you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets. The bedrooms on the first floor enjoy their own balconies, and all of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom. The gardens that surround the villa are filled with colour and you will be fascinated by the varies different species of butterflies and moths that come to feast. The villa is a great base for anyone who drag themselves away from the view, to explore the island. Nowhere is to far away, and you have the advantage of the larger supermarkets being just a 10 minute drive away. On an evening you can enjoy BBQ, whether it the succulent meats from the local butcher or fresh fish from the local fishermen.
I am English and first came to Kefalonia working for Thomson Holidays in 1999 met my husband that summer, who is from the island, and we had our big fat Greek wedding in 2005. We live on site and have 2 children, Katerina and Leo. We are on hand to answer any questions you may have and to guide you to be sure to get the best out of your holiday. Of course though, we are really in the background but its nice to know we are here if needed.
Amanda Hopkins purchased this villa in 1999
My husband and his brother, who are born and bred kefalonians, know the island very well and were looking for a plot of land to invest in with the idea of developing it for villas. when we all first saw the land here we knew it was perfect, the lay of land would mean every villa would have a perfect view not only out to sea but far more. views of what makes kefalonia special, the open lush countryside the backdrop of the impressive mountain range which is the island national park, and not far from anywhere either. meaning it offers the perfect spot for a holiday with easy access to everything, but the benefit of returning back to peace and quiet and stunning views.
The views are fantastic are really do have the wow factor.

Sea kayaking is available and can cater for all levels, along with mountain trekking.
Wine tasting tours are available at many of the local wineries of the island.
The beaches of Trapezaki are 2km from the villa, a 5 min drive or 20 min walk. The first beach is a lovely sandy cove with sunbeds and umbrellas available to hire and a beach bar (normally from June - September)The second beach leading off from the taverna is again a sandy cove from which you can walk onto 3 further secluded beaches. The beaches are great for all, the water is crystal clear and very gently shelves out, meaning it is perfect for small children. Ample room for parking too.
The villas are approx 10 km from the airport which will take approx 30 mins by car. Nearest ports are either Sami or Poros which both approx 45 mins from the villas.
Mousatta village is just 1km from the villas here you will find a local bakery. We are 10km from the capital Argostoli, where you will find each morning you can head down and see the freshly caught fish on sale direct from the boats along with the loggerhead turtles who follow the boats each morning into the harbour. Melissani Lake and Drogarati Cave are 20km. Myrtos Beach 30km.
Castle of St. George 5km.
The local mini market is just 5 mins walk from the villa, they have fresh bread and milk delivered daily and are very well stocked with you basic essentials. There are 2 local tavernas within the same distance, family run, one of which they grow their own veg and use local meats. The larger supermarkets on the island are just 10 mins away by car. The main banks are all in Argostoli where you will find at plenty of cash points. Locally you can enjoy renting a boat for the day so you can discover for yourselves some of the more isolated coves which you can only access from the sea.
