Kallithea is a modern well built high quality villa with panoramic views of Pissouri Bay and the Troodos mountains. Located in Pissouri Village, a traditional and friendly place to stay, it is furnished for convenience and comfort. It is a place for those who want to get away from it all and have the peace and tranquillity of this holiday home which is only a 10 mins drive from the beach and 30 mins from Paphos and Limassol. It is a 10 min walk into the village or a 5 min drive to the Village where you will find all the services that you need. There is even a supermarket on the old road from Paphos to Limassol in Pissouri for you to pick up your shopping as you arrive if you wish. Kallithea has large lounge and dining areas, kitchen, cloakroom and spacious balcony on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with balconies and a bathroom. There is a small garden to the front and a car parking space. Immediately opposite is a swimming pool with sun bathing.
Pissouri is a lovely village of about 2000 people - half Greek and half Ex Pats mostly from the UK. It's so easy to get away from it all and to have peace and quiet with beautiful views from our balcony. There is all the freedom of self catering yet within a 5 min drive or 15 minute walk you can be in the village with a range of tavernas from which to choose. Opposite our property is the swimming pool shared with other owners of Pissouri Villas and changing facilities. Shopping couldn’t be easier with a supermarket down on the old road near to the police station.
A 15 min drive takes you to the blue flag beach at Pissouri Bay;30 mins to Limassol and Paphos;and 60 mins to the Troodos mountains. There are golf courses, historical sites like the Curium, old churches and monasteries to see.
Kallithea (beautiful view) is convenient for the airport (20 mins from Paphos and 60 mins from Larnaca) and only 30 mins to Limassol and Paphos if you are looking for more shopping, entertainment, and restaurants.
Our town house property offers quality accommodation with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a very large and spacious lounge with leather recliners and suite; sun loungers as well as balcony furniture and BBQ.
Pissouri Village has a Wednesday evening Greek Dancing evening in the village square during the summer. There is also an amphitheatre which has concerts and events. There is an Internet café, baker, banks, post office, pharmacy, local shops and supermarkets.
It is so easy to drive to nearby traditional villages and to visit vineyards and sample the wine.
We have so far let family and friends stay, some of whom have enjoyed returned visits and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This includes our niece and husband who have a young family and who want to stay for a third year as well as older friends who invite friends to stay with them.
This is our second stay in a year and the views and villa are superb. There are only two of us and it is just right. The furniture and beds are better than normal in villa rentals and the owners are charming and helpful.Very convenient for the village and beach but a car is really necessary.
A very comfortable home from home.thank you Sue
I have no hesitation in recommending Kallithea for a holiday. The villa is very clean and comfortable, a pleasure to return to after busy days sightseeing and perfect for a relaxing day at home, a spacious balcony with breath taking views. The village caters for all requirements with an excellent supermarket and the very best restaurant Limanaki.
My family and I had a wonderful holiday and were so glad we had found this accommodation. Thank you owners for all the information supplied and your speedy responses when booking.
We chose Kallithea for it's location but the reality was so much more. The booking process was so relaxed (the owners are really genuine and lovely people) with so much information provided in advance nothing could possibly have gone amiss. We arrived late evening (following the detailed instructions given) to be greeted by an immaculate property with everything thought of, including a (very) welcome pack . Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need, this was obviously a loved holiday home. When we awoke next morning, with the sun streaming in, we were able to enjoy the magnificent view from the bedroom balconies which surely can't be bettered anywhere. The pool just opposite was super and very quiet, so it was almost like having a private pool. Overall we have struggled to find fault with anything about the villa and location. Pissouri is a perfect base for exploring, with every need catered for, marvelous restaurants with some terrific traditional entertainment thrown in, and some great shows at the amphitheatre. Paphos had superb shopping, the mountains were spectacular and the villages (especially Omidos) were a treat. All in all we had a wonderful time and would love the opportunity to visit again. Many thanks to Susan and Tony for allowing us to share their lovely holiday home.
A short descending drive of 10 mins through the lovely countryside brings you to Pissouri Bay with its blue flag beach. Swimming and sea sports are available throughout the summer including sailing and scuba diving. There are a range of tavernas and restaurants along the beach. There are other beaches at Avidimou and Curion and Mandria. The coast road to Paphos provides spectacular views and takes you past Aphrodite Rocks where there is swimming and also walking.
Paphos Airport is the most convenient and is a 20min drive to Pissouri. Car hire is recommended to enjoy all the possibilities of the surrounding areas and the island.
Pissouri is mid way between Limassol and Paphos with 30 mins drives.
It is 30 mins to Omodos and Lofu in the foothills of the Troodos (60 mins)
Polis and the Akamas Nature Reserve take about 60 mins. It takes an hour to Larnaca and one and a half hours to Nicosia.
Pissouri Village has traditional dancing in the village square on Wednesdays during these summer evenings with dining outside the tavernas. There is an amphitheatre with occasional concerts and events. There are all the shops and facilities that one could want whilst holidaying including a pharmacy.
Paphos with its famous harbour and mosaics, Limassol with its Rialto Theatre, Cathedral, shops and Art Galleries, Curion with its mosaics and amphitheatre and ancient remains are all worth a visit. Nicosia is also a place of interest with museums, art galleries, churches and entertainment.
There are many attractive churches and monasteries in Cyprus and Kykkos Monastery is the highlight. The spring in particular is good for bird watching and finding flowers.
Walking and climbing as well as mountain bike riding are all possible.
