Modern, well furnished, townhouse in a small urban area, with communal pool and five minute walk to Burriana Beach, with restaurants and shops. Twenty-five minute walk to Nerja town centre (local bus available). Nerja is a typical Spanish village suitable for family holidays. The house consists of 3 double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, two with own terrace, all rooms with aircon and heating, 2 full bathrooms (one en suite), ground floor guest toilet, fully equipped kitchen, large roof terrace with built-in BBQ, shower, small fridge and sitting area. As well on roof terrace there is a coservatory with aircom & heating offering nice sea views.

Great stay

Had a fabulous stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The apartment was well equipped. Was a great place for the six of us to stay and relax, pretty much had the pool to ourselves so we felt very lucky. The roof terrace was lovely for an early drink before we went into the old town for dinner. Only Thing I would ask is that as the apartment accommodates 6-8 people it would have been nice to have 6 sun beds for around the pool as there were only 4 we took it in turns to have a bed. Apart from that great! Communication from the owner was also excellent.

Lovely house - great holiday

Had a great, relaxing holiday at Farhad's house located above Burriana Beach. The property was clean and well maintained. The bedroom layout worked really well for our family group, with the added comfort of air conditioning. We liked the little touches of essentials being provided e.g. toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, basic cooking ingredients, cleaning products, beach and bathroom towels which just helps settling into the house. We met Farhad at the house and he was very charming and helpful. The lounge area was spacious and we loved the roof terrace which had some great views of both the sea / coast and mountains. We used the BBQ on the roof terrace a couple of times which was lovely. The pool area was also a great place to sun bathe and swim. The area is well maintained and its great just to walk out of the lounge on to the sun loungers. The beach is a 10 minute walk down, but the hill is very steep in places so you need to allow 15-20 minutes to get back especially in the heat. We have been coming to Nerja for many years and know Burriana Beach well. Plenty of eating places and bars with one or two chic cocktail bars. We chose not to rent a car this time which didn't really limit us. The local Mercadona is within walking distance (10 minutes)and is good value but for a large family shop we booked a taxi back to the house. The Ancladera bar is located opposite the house which serves reasonably priced food, cheap cocktails - good sized portions. In summary we had a great holiday in a lovely house which ticked all the boxes for us and we are considering coming back with friends next year.

Rhos on Sea North Wales

Lovely lovely house, sea & mountain views.

Had a great family holiday at this lovely lovely property! We booked the house together with our son & his family & our daughter & her partner. It was big enough to provide us all with privacy. The air conditioning kept us all (especially our 1 year old grandson) comfortable. The property has direct access to the communal pool from the rear ground level patio. The roof terrace has a BBQ & we spent many evenings cooking there & taking in the spectacular views of both mountain & sea. There is a small convenience store & bar across the road & a major supermarket about ten minutes walk away. The beach is is a very short walk away, although it is down a very steep hill! There is also a bus into town for 1€ that stops just outside. The bus can be used to return from the beach, but it us a bit of a detour. The owner also allows access to the garage which was ideal for me as I took my own bike & was able to securely store it without it getting in the way. I'm surprised at the previous review as the property was clean & tidy when we arrived.

Disappointed with our stay at this villa, we arrived on the Tuesday and the owner only had the cheek to give us the keys without the villa being cleaned by proper cleaners as the owner had stayed at his villa over the weekend and decided to do the cleaning HIMSELF.

All the rooms were dusty, especially the kitchen was dirty and all glasses, plates etc was caked with grease and sticky which was not very HYGIENIC.

The towels were thread bare and all the extra bedding that was left were too small and did not even fit the beds properly.

Up on the terrace there was a bbq but we could not use this as it was caked in grease and ashes left there from who ever used it last.

We had paid a lot of money for our 10 day stay and I have vowed never ever to return to this rental again and when we contacted him via email to complain he did not have the respect to say SORRY.

Hope whoever visits next time will think twice!!!!!!

Owner's Response: I have been letting this house for 6 years and 3 years by owner direct site never had any complaint and never ask for a review This lady is complayning about so many things But not mention they asked to move in early because they have a fisabled person with them As soon as she called me about cleaning i sent the cleaners to the house But then she asked for money back I will not be black mail by saying i will write a bad review

Malaga airport is 50km away (35 minute drive). Regular buses run from Malaga to Nerja. Car hire is recommended, hire charges are very low. You can also get to Nerja from Granada airport.


Visiting the Nerja caves is a must - 2 miles from property.

There are many attractions, with the best being a village called Frigiliana.

Nerja is an unspoilt town with no high rise buildings. Architecture is a mixture of Andalusian and Moorish. On the Costa del Sol is a seaside resort of Sandy Coves sheltered by the impressive Sierra de Almijara mountains, referred to as the jewels of the Costa del Sol. a temperate climate means that Nerja is great place to visit at any time of year.
