Growing up in the mid-west, I eventually moved east to North Carolina where my children were born. My early exposure to the Blue Ridge Mountains and my love for cycling eventually drew me to Asheville. The artistic diversity of the community reawakened my interest in architecture and fed a desire to contribute to Asheville's thriving downtown.

Why Sarah, reservationist chose Downtown Asheville Art District
After a prolonged search for a downtown property to develop, I had the good fortune to acquire 59 Broadway, an unused warehouse for the previous ten years, in remarkably sound condition and with a good soul. The building was a clean canvas on which to create and provided an opportunity to favorably impact the neighborhood in which it was located. After a year of planning, a project incorporating the interplay of nature, urban, and personal environments, was begun. Completed in December of 2015, The Sinclair was designed and built for generations to come.
What makes this Apartment unique
The Sinclair was built with attention to space, lighting, quality, and simplicity. Twelve-foot ceilings, original hardwood flooring, simple layout, and uncluttered space help convey a deep feeling of comfort. Unlike any other historic building in downtown, there are windows all along the northern wall providing an abundance of natural light to the interior space of the residences further enhancing the unique ambiance. Furnishings, although simple, are complete and of high quality including the art on the walls and accessories throughout. Full length window seats allow you to engage the urban environment just outside the window but in the quiet and comfort of the interior accommodations. Entertain in comfort enjoying the structural acoustical integrity enhanced by a quality sound system. Sleep in comfort on a Sealy Posturepedic cushion mattress.

Ideal spot in downtown Asheville
We loved everything about the 301 Sinclair unit. The space is beautiful, quiet, and highly functional. The attention to detail is impressive. The location could not be better. It was a bit of a splurge, but completely worth it. The garage gave us the ability to come and go easily to explore the region. If we were to return, we would book this option again if it were available. Everything about it was perfect.

Outstanding property in a great location in downtown Asheville. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Inside, the rooms are very well appointed with everything a traveler needs. Great stay!
Beautiful, awesome location, and very comfortable!
My friend and I stayed 4 nights for my birthday and the Asheville Bread Festival. 301 Sinclair is as beautiful as the photos - maybe even more beautiful in person. The beds are like sleeping on clouds - so comfy. If there wasn't so much to do in Asheville I could have stayed in bed all day. I especially appreciated the parking space and the elevator to the 3rd floor. Nice not to have to cart luggage up stairs. The apartment is outfitted with all of the creature comforts we could have wanted - a fully-equipped kitchen, luxurious towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer, even make-up remover cloths. Also very nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit.
The showers were awesome - lots of water pressure (although I could have used a tutorial on how the controls work, but I had it figured out by the end of my first shower). The rooms were very spacious and there is tons of light in the apartment. Maybe a little too much light in the mornings despite the shades, but that was a very minor annoyance.
I appreciated the little signs around the apartment giving instructions on things such as how to use a French Press, or turn on the kitchen lights. The LED lighting throughout added a very nice glow to the apartment. The reclaimed wooden floors bring history and charm to the space.
A word of advice about the garage - I have a Kia Soul which is truly a small car. Anything much bigger than that could have had issues since the other two spaces in the garage were occupied by Lexus SUVs.
My friend and I enjoyed 301 Sinclair very much and both agreed we'd stay there again the next time we go to Asheville.

Fabulous location and beautiful surroundings
This is our third stay in 9 months, and we continue to be charmed by this fabulous apartment. The location is perfect: we love being able to easily walk to meals and shopping. The apartment is spacious and the decor is clean, cool and comfortable. I highly recommend The Sinclair!

Refunds will be issued back to Guest by the original method of payment.
