About Kellie O'Donoghue

Hello!

We bought the farmhouse and holiday cottages in 2015 and since then have been getting used to life in the country!

We love our corner of Suffolk and hope that you'll fall in love with it as we have!

Looking forward to welcoming you to Dandy Corner, Cotton.

Why Kellie O'Donoghue chose Cotton

The peaceful and rural setting made us instantly fall in love with our home in Dandy Corner (let alone the name!). The cottages are remote, but near enough to civilisation to be able to walk to the pub, or cycle to the village shop. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning across this part of Suffolk. And if you're quiet, you can hear the owls at night and see hares, muntjac and red deer, pheasants and many wild birds in the garden and fields around the cottages. We adore this area of Suffolk and hope that you will too!

What makes this barn unique

Come and hear the silence.

What a Treat .

  • 5 of 5

Everything at Cater Cottage has quality written all over it. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer just to stay in and relax. We booked only days before arriving , the booking process was efficient and the information provided made finding and accessing the cottage very simple. Comfy beds and sofas are complimented by lovely soft blankets to aid the " cosying "process. I would absolutely recommend this property .

Further Details:

The cottage is in the rural farmland of Suffolk. A car is essential. 15 mins walk to local pub with good food.

There are many good pubs and restaurants within a 20 minute drive from the cottage.

If you prefer to dine in, the Wyken Vineyards farmers market is a must to get the local produce and there are many other markets and shops to visit. (Keep some pennies in the car with you as you'll pass no end of little stalls outside houses with eggs and kitchen garden produce).

With so many historic castles and houses in Suffolk, you won't be at a loss of what to do! For rainy days, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich provide good shopping, cinemas and art galleries.

The nearest town with a supermarket and bank is Stowmarket.
