About adelaide conte
i am Adelaide I own this lovely villa. I have three children Danilo 13, Francesca 12 and Xaviera 8. I am British born Italian, my family originated from San vito dei Normanni, Brindisi. I speak fluent Italian and English as do my children. Specchiolla is the real untouched Italy. Faboulous food and great weather!!!!
adelaide conte purchased this Villa in 2005
Why adelaide conte chose Specchiolla
Lido Specchiolla has golden and rocky beaches. Restaurants and lots of bars. Ideal for bike rides and pleasant walks. Puglia is the unspoilt part of Italy, the 'real' Italy.
What makes this Villa unique
Villa Vittoria has an amazing veranda with wonderful seaviews. As you step out of the villa you have to cross a small road and you are at the sea. Literally a stones throw away. We have off road parking for two vehicles and a large seaview area for great outdoor dining. Inside the villa there are two bedrooms with air conditioning. The living room also has air conditioning, and an automatic wood pellet burner which heats the radiators in the villa. For entertainment we have satellite TV, DVD player, wired and wireless internet connections which are all included in the price. In the summer months traditional Italian festas take place at least twice per week.

All we expected it to be
Everything described prior to booking was accurate. We travelled during the last week of the season so many bars , restaurants had closed or were closing. However this did not distract from the chilled 10 days we wanted.
Stunning beaches and rock pools; and many historic towns/villages that were within easy reach of lovely villa. The villa had all the amenities we required, and the setting was absolutely idyllic - what can be better than having breakfast on the porch 20 yards from the sea watching the local fishermen returning with their overnight catch to then trade with locals. We are definitely considering a return trip.
Lovely house with a stunning view
This is our second stay at this house this year. The villa is great - plenty of space and all utilities. The area is perfect for a holiday - rocky and sandy beaches, a number of restaurants and 2 small supermarkets in walking distance. We will definitely be back :-)
Amazing location, good facilities, nice quiet village
Arrived late, and Adelaide was there to great us. Lovely spacious accomodation, the air conditioning was a plus! We had a fabulous relaxing week, spending most of the time at the sea, where the breeze made the temp of 34 much more bareable. Local bakery and shops convenient for fresh food, and cafes very friendly. We did not eat out as our daughter is ceoliac, but we were spoilt for choice, enjoying each meal on our spacious balcony. You could survive without a car, but it is much better with,so you can drive around to see the sights. The locals are very friendly and the whole place has a very welcoming atmosphere. We definately would love to return. One of the best holidays we have had in a long time x
Quiet, well equipped relaxing stay
The villas is spacious and has all essentials that we needed. We were there slightly out of season so the village was quiet, felt very safe and clean. The road by the house was also very quiet. Not sure how that changes in the busy season but loved how calm it felt. The supermarket is very close for essentials and the beaches and restaurants easy walking distance. The view from the terrace is lovely and relaxing and we would certainly return.
Thank you for choosing to stay at our villa. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to seeing you in the future.

Great Italian experience
Had a really chilled few days at this great house , very large and comfortable and great views
bought fresh seafood from the little fishing boats opposite house and food and drink from local shop , not much going on in April but if you want peace and quiet this is ideal , thanks to Adelaide for being a great host and taking us back to the Airport , would visit again with a car next time , Tony & Kerry
Thank you. You are a really lovely couple. Look forward to meeting you again. Take care
A great holiday
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was lovely, with a very well equipped kitchen which meant that we could choose whether to eat out or stay in and cook. We did both. The view of the sea from the veranda was lovely with great opportunity to watch the fishermen going out and coming back in to people waiting to buy their catch. Choosing, as we did, to stay in Late September meant that not all the shops and restaurants in the village were still open for business but two shops, a cafe and a restaurant made sure that we didn’t ever want for anything! Most importantly, our hosts greeted us with help and advice, offered help in getting to know the area and support if and when we needed it. All very friendly and welcoming.
It was a pleasure meeting you both. Glad you enjoyed your stay at our villa. Hope to see you again one day.
