Idyllic cottage in a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

Our week in this beautiful, well-appointed house was so relaxing. We wanted for nothing except more sunshine! It was a delight, morning and evening, to sit at the dining table admiring the stunning view. Coming back to the cottage, after our walks and drives, was a pleasure. We highly recommend the local Emlagh Loop walk. 6k, taking in beach, bog and forest. Would return in a heartbeat.

Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. The location was amazing, looking out onto the bay. We were fortunate with brilliant weather for the majority of our stay, and we made the most of it by seeing as much as possible and doing lots of walking!

The house itself was fantastic, very well equipped and warm even on the cold winter nights, the large fire was particularly nice.

We have already recommended it to our friends!

Great place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed this beautiful home very much. We stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed much longer. This home is beautiful, very clean (spotless!), light-filled and cheerful. Great layout and we felt like we were in our own home versus a vacation rental. Beautiful view, private, great wifi, excellent water pressure, comfortable beds. In addition to being a great home, it is located close to many beautiful things to see and visit. We had a great time exploring Valentia Island, Portmagee, Waterville, Skellig Ring and much more. On two days, we have heavy rains (it's December, after all) and we enjoyed staying home all day on those days because the house itself is such an enjoyable place to be. To top it all off...very kind and gracious hosts. Highly recommended.
