This is a spacious and very well equipped, air-conditioned, heated, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which has achieved the best average guest rating in the whole of Clube Albufeira! It is also one of the very few there which has an extra large wrap around balcony and terrace enjoying all day sun and it is one of the newer apartments on this popular resort as it was built in 2008. There are 4 sunbeds on the terrace as well as a table with umbrella and 6 chairs for eating outside. This very well maintained and beautifully landscaped resort has 4 pools (one heated during the winter) all with children's play areas. There's a basketball area and mini football pitch near the apartment and 2 tennis courts are available for use nearby. On site there are also 2 restaurants, 2 snack bars and a minimart selling fresh bread every day as well newspapers and an extensive range of groceries. The Reception is open 24 hours a day and is manned by very helpful, multilingual staff who can arrange bicycle or car rental, order taxis and provide stamps, fax, internet access, wifi, baby sitting services as well as any information needed about the region. Security is provided 24 hours a day. Lovely old Albufeira is only approx 2 km away with its shops, restaurants and beaches. There is a free shuttle bus into town from Reception twice a day. 15 golf courses and other beaches are within 30 mins drive.

Why Jane Budd chose Albufeira

We fell in love with the Algarve when we first visited there several years ago, particularly because of the beautiful sandy beaches, the amazing coastline and wonderful sunny weather all year round. Its also so easy to get to and so within only a few hours of leaving home we can be enjoying the sun on the beach or relaxing on the terrace and enjoying the views.

What makes this apartment unique

We're so glad we decided to pay extra to have air-conditioning installed in the apartment, not just for the cooling effect in the summer, but because it also acts as a very efficient and fast heating system on cooler evenings making the flat very comfortable all year round.

We also chose to buy one of the few apartments on Club Albufeira with an exceptionally large terrace (which is about the same size as the indoor living area) so this means we have sun all day and a lovely spacious area if we feel like relaxing at home.

Clube Albufeira, apt 312

Clube Albufeira is a nicely planned resort, with well maintained gardens and 4 pools of different character, this is my 11th year at the resort, and 312 is the best apartment yet. The internal layouts of apartments are roughly the same in all properties, but this one is almost unique because of the spacious sun terrace, only 4 have this. The property is well equiped, clean and in good condition with air conditioning in bedrooms as well as sitting room, Jane is easy to contact and helpful from booking to post-stay.

Happy Holidays Clube Albuferia Apt 312

Check in was very prompt apartment was fabulous over looking gardens and mountain views. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen utensils cooking facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer all working perfectly. Also very clean upon our arrival plenty of fresh clean linen both beds and towels.

All that you would need is on site such as mini market which had gorgeous fresh rolls every day, staff very helpful and nothing was to much bother to assist us. There are two restaurants which we used frequently Casa Azul and O Pavilhao which served up divine food.The apartment is a short walk to the Casa Azul pool which was spotless and plenty of sun beds and parasols.

Definitely would consider a return trip in the future. The only negative point is that the complex is quite hilly but not a major issue.

Lovely, well equipped and spacious property

Overall our stay was a very relaxing and comfortable one. The apartment was spacious and included lots of essentials to make our stay feel like we were at home. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the balcony during different times of the day. The complex was clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and there was a good range of facilities, 4 pools and the El Cas (blue restaurant) above the apartment is highly recommended. The information folder about the property and resort was useful with plenty to do for a holiday of only a few days or a few weeks. The communication between ourselves and the owner was very good and transfers were organised for us, through Jane, which made the holiday less stressful. I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends in the future.

Relaxing well equiped apartment

Great apartment. Only 2 of us so plenty of space. Pity about the weather, so good to have books/tv to entertain ourselves indoors. Very well equipped. Nice to have dry goods left in the cupboard, washing up liquid etc as often you have to buy new every time and only use a small amount. Good resort and easy to get around. Didn't have a car but used local bus which goes from the opposite side of the road by the camping entrance into Albufeira. Used the camping tennis courts (only 1 in use out of 3) and it has seen better days, but ok for knocking a ball around and only 5 euros for a hour. Wifi was expensive and had to buy either 1 day or 1 week worth and only works in the resort restaurant areas although managed to pick up on the balcony of the apartment too. Would definitely return and would hope for more than 1 day of sun next time.

Lovely apartment with large terrace

This was a lovely homely apartment in comfortable surroundings. It is plenty big enough for 4 people and all the necessities you need including washing machine and dishwasher etc.

We hired a car and went to lots of different beaches, our favourites being san Rafael Beach and Praia da rocha. There are a number of pools to use but we like the pool next to the restaurant which is just above the apartment as its nice and quiet and the views are wonderful.

Good sized apartment with a cracking balcony

Good sized apartment with a large side balcony that gets the sun all day. Complex has 4 good pools, our favourite was the one at the top of the complex with swings for the kids. The old town is a 5 minute drive away and there is a LIDL also 5 mins away.

Coast/Beach:

The Algarve is justifiably famous for its beautiful coastline and picturesque, sandy beaches. There are several beaches nearby, 3 in Albufeira town (which can be reached by the resort shuttle bus) as well as Praia San Rafael, Coelha, Castelo and Dos Arrifes beaches which are only about 3 miles away.

Travel:

Club Albufeira is situated 35 kms from Faro airport which is just 30 mins away by car. It also has very quick and easy access to the centre of Albufeira and the nearby EN125 which is the main road running east to west along the Algarve. There is also a motorway which runs east to west along the length of the Algarve but which is now subject to tolls on some sections.

Distances:

Albufeira with its lovely Old Town and three beaches is only about 2km away and can be reached by the shuttle bus from Club Albufeira. There are also several other lovely beaches only a short drive away such as Gale and Olhos de Agua. Porches, famous for its pottery and Villamoura with its marina and international golf courses are also within 30 mins drive.

Further Details:

The multilingual and friendly reception staff at Club Albufeira are happy to provide any information required about the local shops, restaurants, banks or places of interest. There is also a file for my guests kept in the apartment which contains lots of information on the resort itself, Albufeira town and the local area.
