Surrounded by open countryside Curlew Barn is a superbly appointed converted property providing comfortable holiday accommodation on two levels. Formerly the ‘wing’ of Curlew Lodge it has been converted to provide excellent holiday accommodation. For the more energetic there are walks and cycle routes throughout the area as well as a competition standard tennis court within the grounds. Sutton Bridge is close by providing shops, pubs and post office. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We have four children, a black lab, a cat and six chickens.
Great refurb of an old barn, plenty of space, and very well equipped,owners were on hand to sort out minor problem and were great, only wish we could have enjoyed it more but we were working on our own house refurb, Very good value
Luxury living in a tranquil setting - true 5*
We spent a week in this wonderful holiday home and were very impressed with everything that was provided and by the quality and finish of the building. You will have all you need here with two large bedrooms each with their own en suite facilities and TV. From upstairs we had open views of the garden and even spotted two deer grazing under the nearby apple tree. The living space is open and airy with a contemporary feel and it is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Claire and Robert, the owners, leave you to your own devices even though they live right next door, but couldn't be more helpful and pleasant when you need them. They've got the balance just right.
There's lots to visit up on the north Norfolk coastline, Sandringham is also worth a visit. King's Lynn, Boston and Spalding are within easy driving distance.
Would highly recommend for all ages as there are spacious grounds for children and the tennis court is right on hand. It's also a very quiet environment if you want to just relax and get away from it all.

Very clean and comfortable
The barn conversion had been very tastefully done. It was perfect for the two of us, being in a quiet location with some walks in the area.
We needed some time to just relax, read and basically do just about nothing. Everything we needed to make our stay memorable was on hand. The fittings were of high standard. Spotlessly clean everywhere with comfortable beds.
Stayed here with my son and his family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The house and property are absolutely beautiful! The Barn looks like a home straight out of an interior design magazine and no detail has been spared. Extremely comfortable and very warm on chilly days. It came well equipped with everything you could possibly need....and things you hadn't even thought of. A very efficient dishwasher and washing machine are included. We particularly enjoyed feeding the chickens every day and watching them from the kitchen window. They in turn supplied us with delicious eggs! Views from all the large windows are beautiful - plenty of birds and wildlife to see. Claire and Robert were very friendly and helpful - many thanks! Would love to return again in warmer weather. This has to be my favourite holiday let so far. Would happily give it 6 stars if it was possible! Loved it!
Arrived at the property late evening and we were pleasantly surprised. The owners had greeted us and WOW what a place. The views the fire place, really a great place to stay. Thank you for a great weekend.
We arrived and were met by the owners who showed what was what. The cake that Claire had baked was still warm !!!! Lovely.
The barn is renovated to a very high standard and we were made to feel at home immediately. The log burner on a cold winter evening was a very nice feature.
Very comfortable a really nice place to Stay .... We will be back !!!!
Coast/Beach: 1 mile from coastal walks along The Wash, a Special Protection Area (SPA) under European Union legislation. 24 miles to nearest beach. Travel: Use of car is essential. Distances: Nearest village, with shops and pub etc. 2 miles. Historic market town of King's Lynn 12 miles. Hunstanton Coastal Resort Town 30 miles.

Normal changeover day is Friday. Arrival any time after 3pm with departure by 10am. For short breaks, either weekend (Friday - Monday) or midweek (Monday - Friday), please contact owners for availability. These are charged at 70% of the full week's price.
