This comfortable 3 bedroom family villa sleeps 6 and may be reserved by contacting the owners by email or phone.

The villa Is conveniently located within a few minutes walk of the local shops, restaurants, bars and one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

To the front of the property there is a garden and driveway, providing off-road parking for several cars.

Ground Floor:

The front door opens into a hallway that leads to the three bedrooms, shower room, garage and stairs to the first floor.

The back door at the end of the hallway serves the rear garden, private swimming pool with Roman steps, patio area with table, chairs, sun loungers and parasols.

First Floor:

At the top of the stairs is a generous lounge with seating and TV, and a dining area with table and chairs.

French doors lead to the front covered balcony with table and chairs, where you can enjoy views across the bay and, in the evening, see some beautiful sunsets

At the other end of the lounge is a doorway to the fitted fully equipped kitchen; a rear door from the kitchen leads to a terrace, with retractable awning - an ideal area for barbecues.

We are Karen and Glen Cowper. We live in Staffordshire U.K. where we have a business in which we are both involved. The property has been privately owned by us since 1992. Although we love to visit the house and the Island whenever possible, there are inevitably long periods when it is unoccupied. Making it available for rent helps with the overheads and hopefully allows us to invest in improvements where necessary. We welcome comments from our guests to help us do this.

We bought the house from trusted friends, without even visiting! We could see what we were getting from photographs and most importantly, how much they loved the Island. It was a decision we have never regretted - over the years we have enjoyed many happy family holidays at the villa.

What makes this villa unique

Menorca, as one guest commented "is a gem of an island". It is a small island, so that there is nowhere that is very far to go. Arenal d'en Castell is centrally situated with possibly the best beach on the island and the golf course at Son Parc is only minutes away by car. The resort of Arenal d'en Castell has many amenities and there are activities for everyone to enjoy.

At the end of the day you may simply like to relax on the terrace and be fortunate enough to enjoy a beautiful Menorcan sunset.

Fantastic holiday !

Our third visit to the property and had great fun again - the locality to the beach and the restaurants makes the holiday perfect for us with easy access to the buses to be able to visit Fornells and Mahon, would highly recommend it.

Fabulous villa

Lovely villa. Great location. Fabulous private pool. Pool Cleaned regularly over our stay but it never encroached on our stay. Great views. Safe and secure. Lots of space for 6 occupants. Would definitely recommend and return.

Superb family friendly villa and resort

This was our second visit to the villa. Very clean and spacious with a lovely pool and many a relaxed evening sat on the lovely balcony overlooking the bay. Arenal is a perfect resort with a good choice of restaurants and a stunning horseshoe beach which is ideal for young children. We will be back!!

Fabulous Villa

We had a fabulous week in Arenal. The Villa was everything we could have hoped for - very clean, extremely spacious, well equipped and with an amazing pool and outdoor space. The location is perfect too - very close to all the many restaurants/bars and the supermarket. Would highly recommend this Villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Arenal!

Menorca (as one guest has commented) "is a gem of an island" - apart from beautiful beaches and countryside it has a wealth of historic and natural places of interest all of which are readily accessed from most parts of the island.


Should you wish to explore the island then we would recommend hiring a car - however it is not essential - the villa is well situated for all of the amenities in Arenal.

Taxis are available at the airport and in Arenal and there is a regular bus service from the airport to the bus station in Mahon and from there to Arenal.

Arenal d'en Castell is an easy 25 minute drive from both the airport and Mahon, the capital of Menorca.

The inland market towns of Es Mercadal and Alayor are only 15 minutes drive away - Na Macaret - a tiny fishing village with good restaurants is within walking distance.

The historic, picturesque port of Fornells, and its water sports facilities, is just a 15 minute drive away and Son Parc, with its 18 hole golf course, is just around the bay.

Arenal D'En Castell - Resort:

The resort of Arenal d'en Castell is situated on the north east coast of Menorca. It is a small, quiet resort with a beautiful, sheltered bay and 700m horseshoe shaped beach accessed via a series of steps just opposite the villa.

Arenal beach has been awarded blue and green flags in recognition of the water quality, the cleanliness of the beach, services for visitors and environmental management policy; there is a life guard in attendance during the summer months. In season there are sunshades, sunbeds, pedalos (manual & powered) for hire. There are several convenient beach restaurants which serve drinks, snacks or full meals.

A recently constructed 'boardwalk' links the whole beach area and provides access to the beach for all.

The hotels provide evening entertainment for children up to 9pm and from 9pm to midnight for adults. Bars are open late but there are no nightclubs.

In season it is possible to purchase a ticket on a land train which stops very close to the villa and transports visitors between Coves Noves, Marina Parc, Na Macaret, Punta Grossa and Arenal.


During the summer months and as an alternative to sunbathing/swimming you may enjoy some of the following:

Plan a visit to El Torro (the highest point on the island) at sunset

Have a walk along the quayside and up to the Torre at Fornells

Younger children may enjoy a visit to a water parc or perhaps to a zoo

Fiesta - Well worth a visit if there is a local Fiesta during your stay at the villa - but please be aware that the Fiestas can be extremely busy and crowded and are probably not suitable for small children.

Golf: The only golf course on the island - at Son Parc - is situated a few minutes drive away from the villa.

Walking: During the less hot months of April/May and September/October - Try the Cami de Cavalls - an ancient pathway circumnavigating the island - it was originally by the Menorcan people to enable early warning of impending invasion. It has now been completely re-opened for the first time in over 400 years and a walk along even part of the path between Arenal and Son Parc provides breath-taking scenery and lovely coastal views .

Horse riding: The island is famous for the beautiful Menorcan horses and there are opportunities to ride inland or on beaches.

Watersports: Visit Fornells or S'Algar for wind-surfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling.

Water Parc: There is a new Water Parc at the Hotel Marina - 15 minutes walk away.

Harbour Tour: Take a trip around the harbour in Mahon on a 'Yellow Boat' trip.

Snorkelling/Sub Aqua: There are several clubs/organisations offering these activities in Fornells, S'Algar and other coastal resorts.

History/Monuments - Visit the ancient dwellings from the Talayot period scattered around the island. Discover the history of the island in museums, libraries and forts (please check opening dates/times before you set out) .
