Outstanding 3 Bed Georgian-Style Town House in gated executive development. The property consists of a large lounge dining area with double windows and Juliet balcony to uninterrupted views of Fistral beach and the surrounding coast. Well equipped kitchen, master bedroom with views overlooking the beach, two additional double/twin bedrooms, upstairs bathroom with jacuzzi bath, downstairs shower room, utility room with washer, dryer, additional fridge freezer and custom designed wetsuit drying area. To the rear is a small garden. The property is in a gated development with allocated parking to the rear and additional parking to the front. Situated in the quiet area of Pentire the beach is less than 5 minutes walk and town centre 15 minutes walk. The property has full broadband internet access and two high spec LED Internet connected TVs in the lounge dining room and downstairs bedroom/den.

We are a family living in Exeter. We have two children aged 13 & 14 years and this is our holiday home. We enjoy the countryside doing lots of outdoor activities including surfing.

Why Peter Kumik chose St Ives area

We have friends with an apartment in Newquay that we have used regularly over many years. Pentire is a quiet area and has the beach at the doorstep but is also an easy walk into the town where there are all the shops and things to do for the kids that you need. Last Christmas we saw the house in Hatfield Crescent advertised and decided it was exactly what we wanted as a family holiday home. We often spend holiday weeks and weekends in Newquay all year round so we knew we would use it. It was also such an obvious holiday rental we hope to cover some of our costs by letting it out when we are not using it.

What makes this house unique

Multiple rooms in the property overlook Fistral beach which is a short walk from the front door. You can spend hours in any conditions relaxing on the sofa with a coffee or glass of wine just watching the surf and beach. More to the point you can pick your conditions if you want to catch the best waves. There are plenty of surf hire shops and surf schools within an easy walk.

Newquay has an aquarium the kids love to go back to visit, mini golf, a golf course, sports facilities such as climbing, swimming, tennis, boating pool, plenty of shops and bars as well as cliff walks and easy access to all the beautiful beaches and towns of north Cornwall.

Within the gated enclosure there is one dedicated parking space and additional parking at the front of the property. Utility Room: Washer, dryer, fridge freezer, drying/washing area for wetsuits, storage cupboards. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedrooms will be configured to your requirements. Bedding/linen and one bath towel will be provided for each occupant. The property is cleaned and bedding changed weekly. Other: Small south facing garden with garden furniture and BBQ.

Absolutely fabulous!

Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Would stay here again without a second thought. Lovely gifts were left for us, and the small touches made the stay even more enjoyable.

Wonderful place. Recommended!

Great place above Fistral beach! Location much better than expected. We (7 people between 5 and 90 years, mixed German and Brazilean) enjoyed the place and the beach, including the wonderful sunsets. Parking was OK for a van, we used the place to relax and also do excursions in Cornwall (up to Land's End).

Wonderful location

Property is well placed with outstanding views we did however have a couple of minor issues regarding the property which we felt could have been cleaner at commencement and for us the bathroom arrangements didn't work well. The top floor needs a proper shower arrangement rather than the large Jacuzzi type bath with shower over that is difficult to get in and out of and stand up in when using the shower hose, in addition, it takes a very long time to fill. There were also several items of maintenance required with notes left advising us of an issue - some of which seemed to us to be not recent issues.

That said we enjoyed the property and as stated it is in a wonderful location. Upon arrival we were greeted with supplies to get us started in the property, including some food and wine. The owner was also helpful and supportive.

We were a group of 7 adults plus two children. I can recommend the property but would suggest probably better sized for 4-6 people in total.

Owner's Response: Keeping up with maintenance is a continual effort and I don't burden guests with a full audit of the property when they leave. I believe all the issues raised by these visitors though minor were still addressed within days and none should have impacted holiday enjoyment. I found some of the comments somewhat unfounded as the layout of the house is detailed in the property description and for most guests it is well suited to a family coming and going from the beach where a shower down stairs is ideal and a large comfortable bath upstairs works well. Further more when this booking was initially requested I refused it because as stated in the web details the house is only equipped for 8 people with 2 people on a sofa bed. I was persuaded to allow them an extra person and made no additional charge. I would have hoped that this kindness would have been reciprocated and reflected in the review.

Great location, great view, great property.

What a great property in the quieter part of Newquay, Pentire. Just a short walk and down a few steps to the beach - couldn't be much better a location.

The house was modern and we'll equipped for our stay with everything we could have wanted.

We'll be recommending it to friends and family and will likely be booking again.
