A recent build luxury design two bedroom apartment on the development, benefiting from the significant design improvements and increased size over the older apartment designs on the resort. The double aspect patio and large corner plot garden area of this apartment is one of the largest and best appointed on the resort, with all day sun from its south-east to south-west facing position. Views across the Boavista golf course can be enjoyed from both the front (14th-16th holes) and rear of the property (3rd hole), including views of the Monchique Mountains and the Lagos Bay. The large shared heated outdoor swimming pool & children's paddling pool is very close by, which guests have full access to. Guests at this property also benefit from full membership of the Boavista Fitness & Spa, which in addition has a large indoor heated pool. For Golfers, discounted rates for Golf on the Boavista course are provided for our Guests. This property also boasts its own large integral garage for car parking, with a remote electrically operated door.

A recent new Portuguese Law: Decree-Law Nr. 128/2014, requires and mandates that all Portuguese holiday homes being offered for Rent achieve formal Registration and comply with this new Law's full Directives. This Law and its Directives ensure both legal compliance in being able to Rent a property, and specifically to protect the Consumer in areas of the property's amenities and with particular regard to safety. My wife and I live in the South of England and we enjoy visiting our property in Boavista as often as possible, often having family and friends join us for part of our stays. We really love the immaculately kept Boavista Resort, the local area, the golf, the incredible range of restaurants and of course the year long lovely weather there! We have not regretted our purchase at Boavista for one single second, and are always looking forward to our next trip back!

This part of the Algarve is still quite unspoilt, and everything is certainly better value for money at this end of the Algarve. From golf prices to eating out, everything is far more reasonably priced, whilst the quality of everything is still present.

What makes this apartment unique

We absolutely love our property at Boavista - we have our own secure area within the integral garage where we can keep items there to save on luggage each time we travel, the double aspect garden space in our particular apartment is much larger than the average plot and it is south facing so we have sun all day. As a very recent build, the apartment is Boavista's latest design, which we much prefer over the older style apartment layouts at the Resort. Although we have full golf views front and back, we are not in any 'firing line' for stray golf balls, which we wouldn't like. We feel our location, plot, and design is 'just perfect'!

We had a fantastic two weeks at Boavista, the resort was beautiful and had all the facilities we needed and more. The children loved making friends around the pool and the club house provided a really varied menu, as well as a variety of theme nights, eg bbq night with music. The apartment was immaculate, show home standard with above and beyond the amenities needed and very importantly very comfy beds. There was an immaculately tendered and private garden where we enjoyed bbqs. Out of 10 we would give this holiday a definite 10.

Coast/Beach:

There are many beautiful beaches to choose from nearby in either direction to the Boavista resort. There is the very long (4km) sandy beach in Lagos (Meia Praia), and many smaller beautiful coves in Lagos – Praia de Dona and the famous Ponta da Piedade with its stunning caves and rock formations stretching into the sea. There are many more sandy beaches nearby at Porto de Mos, Praia de Luz and Burgau. There is also the beach voted "The best beach in Europe" by the Sunday Times in 2017 - Praia da Amoreira. This is just 30 minutes away on the Western Algarve coast.

Travel:

The Resort is best served from Faro International Airport, which is 45-60mins away from the Resort via the A22 Motorway. Car hire is recommended, although both Train and Taxi services are available from the Airport to Lagos. Local Taxis from the Boavista Resort to local restaurants/beaches etc are relatively inexpensive.

Distances:

Lagos is a large Town, close by to the Resort (5 mins by car) with many shops, restaurants etc. The closest supermarket to the Resort is the Intermarche, just a few minutes from the accommodation. Lagos is a thriving Market, and now Tourist Town, with over 100 restaurants, a Marina, and a long history dating back to Roman Times with much evidence also of the Portuguese explorations. It also has a Train station, with regular trains running along the width of the Algarve to Faro.

Boavista Golf & Spa is a luxurious 5* resort maintained to very high standards, with excellent amenities and stunning views (‘Boavista’ means Good Views!). Notes on accommodation: The Lounge and both of the bedrooms have Flat-screen TV’s, all having 25 Satellite channels, including Sky Sports & Sky Movies, BBC, ITV channels etc. The accommodation has electrically operated shutters with mosquito nets on all windows and patio doors throughout. The apartment has Air-conditioning/heating in each room, separately controlled by individual remote controls. The 2 Bathroom's (one en-suite) both have underfloor heating and heated towel rails. There is a hair dryer provided in the Bedroom for guest's use. The apartment also has a Video Entry system installed for any callers, with an electronic opening system of the building's front door. This is a non-smoking apartment and Pets are not allowed. Outside: The Garden & Patio area is a large corner plot, measuring 31x23 yards at its widest dimensions. It is south facing, offering an extensive lawned area and beautifully manicured gardens, consisting of tropical shrubs and two mature Olive Trees. From the Patio and gardens, there are extensive views of the Golf Course, the Lagos Bay, and the Monchique Mountains. The accommodation is equipped with 2 Patio Tables and 4 Patio Chairs, 2 sun loungers and a parasol. The shared 30 metre outdoor heated swimming pool, with its separate shallow Children’s play pool, is very close by, accessed by a Card entry system, which each guest will be provided with. The pool area is well equipped with sun loungers and parasols, and has showers, toilets, changing facilities and lockers. It is also regularly served with a Drinks and Snacks service. Utility Room: An iron, ironing board and clothes airer are provided in the accommodation, along with an integrated Washing Machine/Dryer in the Kitchen. There is not a separate Utility Room in this property. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All Bed Linen and Bathroom Towels are provided throughout (excluding Beach/Pool Towels). There is a weekly Maid service for the towels/bed linen change and cleaning of the apartment. This can be upgraded to a Daily Maid Service for an additional £30 p.w. Other: The property has its own large integral garage, with remote electrically operated door, giving internal access to the lobby area and the apartment without the need to go outside. In addition to the garage parking, there is also off-road parking allocated.

Magnificent Apartment & Resort !!!

Had a fantastic 12 night stay here in May. The apartment is well appointed all round, as described, with a spacious modern open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area. This particular apartment benefits from a large immaculately maintained garden area to the front & side, which receives full sun from early morning & into the evening ...ideal for early morning breakfasts or evening teas on the patio. Facilities within the resort were excellent & included unlimited free use of the 'Essential Fitness & Spa' and use of the communal outdoor pool which was spotless. The golf course itself is very well maintained & provides a challenge for all levels of player ...it provides some fantastic views towards the Bay Of Lagos, Luz, & the Monchique mountains. There are numerous other courses nearby, notably Palmares which is a must play if you are a golfer. All the resort staff were very welcoming, pleasant & friendly. The resort provided an excellent base from which to explore the unspoilt Western Algarve area, & also heading further north along the west coast towards the Alantejo Region, where we found the fantastic beaches of Amado & Bordeira. ...The cliff top drive between these two beaches, with it's various stop off viewing points, was amazing ! An information pack, compiled by the owners, was provided in the apartment which proved useful in highlighting places to visit & favourite places to dine.

I would certainly recommend that if you are thinking of a family holiday, a golfing holiday, or simply intend exploring the magnificent landscape of the Western Algarve, then this is the place to stay ! ...5 Star !!!

Beautiful apartment, close to Lagos

We had a lovely fortnight at Boavista staying in this apartment. The apartment has everything you need and looks as good as the pictures. We used it as a base so we're out and about most days in the car but it was good to return and use the community pool which was huge.

Thank you Steve for some great recommendations for restaurants, Lagos has lots of them but be wary of the tourist traps where it's hit and miss.

We really couldn't ask for more and it is the best apartment we have ever stayed in. The only feedback to improve is it would have been great if the outdoor patio was a little larger, we didn't use too much as difficult to get us all round table with a much needed umbrella....also we would have loved wifi...no doubt my phone bill will be sky high 😳😬

Overall fab holiday, great location to explore and we will definitely be back to Portugal!

Another wonderful stay

Our second year at this wonderful apartment. It is absolutely wonderful for our family, the decor and aspect are perfect. It has everything you could wish for. Having such a large garden is a huge plus too. I do so love staying here, it feels like a second home. The complex itself is always so well maintained, spotless in fact. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough. There are some wonderful beaches on your doorstep and great restaurants too not forgetting a great selection of golf courses. What's not to like! Finally the owner as always is a pleasure to deal with.

Beautiful, modern apartment

Beautifully presented, ground floor apartment. Every mod con you could ever ask for with modern furnishings. We did find seating 4 people around the outside dining table tricky due to the short verandah, but this was a minor issue. The property is close to a clean and well appointed pool facilities.

The property was very clean and tidy and we found the whole resort to be well maintained and exceptionally clean.

The pool area is lovely and has modern toilets and changing facilities.

My husband and I played 1 round of golf here and we enjoyed the course.

Lagos is a lovely old town with cobbled streets and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We were a little disappointed by the restaurants and didn't eat anywhere that we would thoroughly recommend.

The owners were brilliant to deal with throughout the booking process and in the run up to our stay and I'd thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Fantastic

The £200 security deposit is refundable within 14 days after your stay, providing everything is found to be in order after your departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival time is after 3:30 pm and departure time is before 11:00 am. Should an earlier arrival time or later departure time be required, please contact the owner to pre-arrange.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
