Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Ingleton is an ideal holiday destination for outdoor activities or just relaxing in tranquil countryside. It is also an excellent touring centre with the Lake District and north-west coast only a day-trip away. Bank House is in the centre of the village within easy reach of all the local pubs restaurants and shops. It’s a five minute walk to the start of the famous waterfalls walk and the foot hills of Ingleborough. A large collection of guide books and information books about the local area are provided.

We are extremely proud to introduce our new venture - a luxury holiday cottage in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

The Dales is an area extremely close to our hearts and we think this reflects itself in our cottage . We have spent a lot of time and effort ensuring you have a comfortable relaxing stay and have all the information to hand you need about the wonderful Yorkshire Dales. We have a young family ourselves and are keen walkers runners and cyclists. We have made every effort to make the cottage family ,walker, and cyclist friendly. We have a huge collection of information books ,walking and cycling books and wild life info and maps for you to borrow whilst you stay in the cottage .There are two game consoles for the children to play and flat screen TVs DVDs and CDs.

I had the absolute privilege of been brought up in this gorgeous village .The village of Ingleton is surrounded by magnificent countryside with caves, waterfalls, and mountains. The Craven Fault crosses the area and geological and archaeological sites abound.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park , Ingleton is an ideal holiday destination for outdoor activities or just relaxing in tranquil countryside. Its an excellent touring centre with the Lake District and north-west coast only a day-trip away.

The famous waterfalls trail and white scar caves are not to be missed. Ingleton also has the three peaks !-enjoy

What makes this house unique

Bank House is in the centre of the village within easy reach of all the local pubs restaurants and shops.

Its a five minute walk to the start of the famous Waterfalls walk and the foot hills of Ingleborough

The famous Ingleton outdoor pool is 100yards away near the huge children’s play area and riverside picnic area.

Dogs, accompanied by respectful owners, welcome to enjoy the country walks.

Bank House is a traditional stone built property. It was built in the 1800's and is located in the heart of the village square. The house has been renovated to a high standard with all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The accommodation is family, walker and cyclist friendly. There is a secure bike store in the enclosed rear(south facing) garden.

Had a lovely week at Bank house ingleton. Would return to stay if visiting again all mod cons; and well situated for pubs, shops also nice to be able to take dog.Cons; steep stairs to 3rd floor, outside dustbins full on arrival , impossible to work out what went in which bin and also had to park in a pub as there is no off road parking but once you get to know it and where to park it wasn't a problem . Overall well worth the cost..would return anytime.climbing wall,swimming pool and children's park all within walking distance

We rely on our guests putting the correct bin out for us in summer . This usually works well but if one gets missed we would advise guests to call us and we would sort out the problem asap . Perfect Cottage

Lovely week at Bank House. Very clean cottage in the heart of the village. Accommodation perfect for our party of 7 plus dog. Big bathroom with powerful shower. Three teenagers didn't complain once about the wi-fi (unlike at home !!) Very helpful owner who quickly arranged minor appliance repair. Well stocked Co-op a minute away meant we didn't have to go further for a food shop. Plenty of walks on the door step plus Ambleside and The Lakes only 50 minutes away. Would certainly come again.

Great home feel

Exactly what a party of 6 adults needed when visiting Ingleton for a family event. A great home feel to the property. Presentation standards very high and well maintained. The decor strikes a good balance by using neutral tones and quiet patterns. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen, everything we required we found. A very responsive heating system adding to the comfort of the stay. Great garden space, maintained to high standard. All this right in the heart of Ingleton village. We found a gem that we will remember when it comes to the next family get together.

Excellent Base in Ingleton

Bank House is located in the absolute center of the village - an ideal base for walking the hills and waterfalls of Ingleton and Ingleborough. The properly was surprisingly spacious, beautifully maintained and well equipped. A warm and comfortable retreat on a snowy January weekend!

Bank house is located in the heart of the village . You can walk to country pubs and enjoy a drink and a meal . Ingleton has a fabulous Italian restaurant that is a joy to visit. There is a great fish and chip shop in the village and numerous tea shops selling delicious home cooked food. Ingleton has its own pottery and you can watch pots been made .Ingleton has an indoor climbing wall for the adventurous . There is an award winning seasonal riverside out door heated pool 2 minutes from the property. Ingleton is surrounded by the majestic three peaks Ingleborough Penyghent and Whernside if you fancy a challenge check in at the café in Horton Inribblesdale and try to complete the walk in under 12hours.

Ingleton has the stunning white scar caves system hundred of visitors a year stare in amazement at the spectacular beauty of this underground cavern- do not miss visiting .

The nearby Ingleborough (Clapham)caves are equally as stunning and are well worth a visit , you can also explore the lovely village of Clapham.

The famous waterfall trail is on the door step and again is not to be missed.

Malham cove approx 14 miles away is another area of outstanding natural beauty.

Malham is a small village, in the Pennines, at the southern base of the Yorkshire Dales. It's a pretty place, surrounded by limestone dry-stone walls, & with a stream running right through the middle of the village. Malham Cove is a huge curving amphitheatre shaped cliff formation of limestone rock. The vertical face of the cliff is about 260 feet high. The top of the cove is a large area of limestone pavement. There are many walks around the cove - Bank house has several books and maps you can use to explore this area.

Docker Farm is a fabulous place for children to visit its about 6 miles from Ingleton. children can pet animals and have tractor rides.

The award wining Forbidden Corner Foley/park is 30 miles away, the drive there alone is stunning. Do not miss this attraction.
