This unique lodge is a luxurious 3-storey stone house of 110sq m, featuring all the facilities to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable! The house has 4 bedrooms with a view to the village (2 on the ground floor and 2 on the upper floor), 3 bathrooms (2 on the ground floor and 1 on the upper floor), plus 1 wc and a storage room on the ground floor. There are two huge furnished balconies from where you can enjoy a great view of Arachova village and the ancient famous olive grove of Amfissa and Delfi.
At the ground floor, there is also a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room with a modern design fireplace for the winter. All rooms are heated. Safety is guaranteed as there is a private entrance and parking area with a security system operated by cameras. Further facilities provided are the TV, the DVD player and a barbeque corner. If you wish to have a daily breakfast served at the house, we can provide you a delicious menu of local products! (upon request with an extra charge).

Arachova is a mountainous village nestling picturesquely at the foot of Mt. Parnassós in Viotia, Southern Greece. It is the most cosmopolitan winter destination in our country, the great favorite for passionate ski lovers and celebrities, or just first-time visitors who wish to relax in a dreamy mountainous setting with modern tourism facilities. Apart from the mountain activities, Aráchova is also famous for its bustling nightlife! Must visit The Byzantine churches of the village with their well preserved frescos.
~Get involved in outdoor activities such as hiking or ski down the slopes of mountain Parnassos (about 2km) at the biggest downhill ski resort in Greece. The mountain’s high altitude offers ski lovers long-lasting snow cover at the peaks.It is the best organized and equipped ski center of Greece and can service ski beginners and experts too. You are going to love the view of the sea at the foot of Parnassos, while you are doing ski or drinking your coffee.
~Also “Gerontovrachos” (17 km N), "Kelaria" (23 km N) and "Fterolakka" (26 km N) are a great choice for sports lovers! There you will find ski and snowboard schools, shops of renting and selling of ski equipment and shop of clothing. ~Hiking from the archaeological site of Delphi (which is located at the borders of the Prefecture of Fokida, 8 minutes from Arachova) to the cave of Korykeio Andro. Don’t miss a guided tour of the most important city of the ancient years.
~If you love to walk next to the sea and enjoy great sea food, you can visit Galaxidi, which is about 30 minutes driving. Another choice for enjoying great tavernas next to the sea is Antikira.
~Livadia is another great village you could visit. The water sources of Kria, with bridges and streams are just 20 minutes from Arachova and you will love the tavernas (traditional restaurants) and the great food there. A good choice for meat lovers is Livadia village and “Kria” area with its water springs. Bridges and streams create a beautiful evergreen landscape.
~ Saint Luke. Architecture perfection in a Byzantine style monastery of the 9th century AD, just 20 minutes from Arachova. It is the most important Byzantine monument of the 9th century.
We advice you to discover the traditional character of the village by taking leisure walks through its narrow cobblestone streets. Enjoy hot and sweet or soft and fruity drinks in cafés, or traditional kafeneia (coffee shops). Stay up all night and enjoy the village’s bustling nightlife. There are a plethora of bars and clubs up and down the streets of Arachova.
Local food and products
Enjoy delicious specialties and delicacies such as kontosouvli and kokoretsi made from the meat of traditional of Parnassos mountain goats, at the local taverns and restaurants. The local cuisine will satisfy the most demanding ones.
Have a sip of the divine Parnassós local wine, the red “Mavroudi”, which achieved Protected Designation of Origin status in 2006. The “Black Aráhova vine” is a full-bodied prolific variety that produces wines of a deep red hue with a high alcohol content.
You must complete your meal with traditional “spoon-sweets”, or even better, try yogurt with honey!!
Arachova is famous for its traditional products such as olives, great oil, jams, legumes, honey, yogurt, opsimotiri cheese, ouzo, feta, frumenty and noodles, halva and the famous round Formaella cheese produced only in the named area origin guaranteed by the European Union.
If you visit Arachova during Easter you will have the opportunity to enjoy the “Panigiraki” feast, celebrating Saint George, the patron saint, and the battle of Arachova (November 1826).
Also the celebration of the Crook where the elderly of the village, dressed in traditional costumes participate in races going up to the hill of Saint George. The winner prize is a lamb.
HOW TO REACH ARACHOVA
•From the airport of Athens to Arachova the distance is 160km (about 2 hours). You follow the Attica High Way /E94/Α6 and E75/Α1. From the National Road Athens-Lamia, turning right at “Kastro” exit, following the way to Livadia. Arachova is situated 30km after Livadia.
By public transport
- You take the bus Χ93 from Athens' airport and then another bus from KTEL Liosion (Liosion street 260) to Arachova.
