About Tony Mole

I recently moved back to Cumbria after spending 8 years in the South of France where I set up and ran a property business. Before moving to France I was owner of a graphic design studio and worked for many national and international clients. Ex-rugby player and keen on all sports including skiing, mountain biking, rowing, walking I love the great outdoors so am lucky to have rental properties in both the south of France and the Lake District. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Tony Mole purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Tony Mole chose England

I fell in love with these gorgeous log cabins and their spectacular locations as soon as I saw them. Contemporary and up to date in terms of design and layout, very stylish interiors yet cosy when the snow's on the ground. I've equipped them with everything modern guests would expect to see such as iPod docking stations, wif-fi. Always a delight returning to one of the lodges after a long day on the fells. The locations are perfect for exploring arguably the most beautiful part of England any time of year.

What makes this cabin unique

Our guests can enjoy unlimited free use of a new luxury health club 5 minutes from the lodge, large gym, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub.

''Our first time to the Lake District, enjoyed every minute, lodge is fabulous and so well equipped. Enjoyed the pool and sauna after a hard day on the fells''. Thanks for a great holiday!''

“Thank you Tony for a great holiday and your excellent, prompt service dealing with our booking. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, spacious and has every conceivable facility, We hade a great time and will be returning. Very impressed with White Cross Bay too – the pool, gym etc are superb. The park is spotlessly kept and is very tranquil by the lake. There is so much to do in the area and the location is perfect with Windermere and Ambleside on the door step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to our friends and can’t wait to come back as the lodge was perfect’’.

Great location and great accommodation

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was well equipped and nice and clean. Nice walks through the woods for the dog. A small welcome pack was included which was a nice touch.

Everyone loved the hot tub, the only problem now is trying to work out how we could have one of our own! I think we will come back next year

Excellent property, stunning location

  • 5 of 5

On arrival, the property was spotlessly clean. There was really nothing missing as far as self catering goes, the kitchen was extemely well equippped. The lodge was comfortable, cosy as well as modern. The positioning of the property was brilliant, close to the local restaurant, swimming pool and playing area. Hiking and cycling in the area is fantastic with both easy and moderate routes available. We would definately use the property again if holidaying in the area.

Brathay Lodge Our Honeymoon Accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We love the lakes and mountains and found the location of Brathay excellent. Lodge was clean, well equipped and it was great being dog friendly. We had a wonderful honeymoon and thanks for the bubbly and chocs on arrival. We will happily return when we next visit the area and recommend the lodge, pool and site. Shame the pub on site is not dog friendly when so many of the lodges allow dogs to stay. Thanks

White cross bay site has facilities if u out wasn't germ. We swam in the pool and sat outside the bar on a couple of evenings. You can use the facilities or go into windemere or bowness for meals. Lovely holiday.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a last minute weekend at the cabin, everything about it was fabulous and it exceeded our expectations. Equipped with everything you need, stunningly appointed and furnished. Great communication with the owner even though we booked less than 48 hrs before our stay. Would highly recommend.
