2 bedroom, 1 bathroom property that sleeps 6 when using the king-sized sofa bed

This family holiday home is situated in the Urbanisation of La Herrada.

There is a lovely swimming pool on site and several children play areas close by. A good sized supermarket and a bar/café is just a few minutes walk away.

For more choice of places to eat, it is a 15 - 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive into the nearest town of Los Montesinos where you will find a wide variety of Shops, Bars, Cafés and Resaurants.

The furniture has been upgraded and now includes a generous king size sofa-bed in the lounge and comfortable memory foam mattress toppers on all the beds. There are fans provided for the summer months and oil-filled radiators for the winter.

On the Solarium, there is a Pergola which will provide welcome shade when dining al-fresco during the summer months.

We have a small selection of DVD's, books and games which you are welcome to use, as well as European travel plug adaptors, a small first aid kit and a sewing kit. There is also a nightlight and hairdryer in the main bedroom.

You will need to pay our local agent €50.00 in cash on arrival. This is to cover for the time it takes to get the property ready for your arrival, the meet and greet and to pay for cleaning of the property on your departure.

The property is registered with the Spanish Authorities and has a Tourist Licence, so you can be sure that it meets all your needs for a comfortable, safe and enjoyable holiday.

Why Wendy chose Los Montesinos

The property is set up with most things you would need whilst on holiday. The kitchen is well equipped and has a stock of basic cooking ingredients for guests to use. Similarly there are stocks of Shampoo, and shower gel so you don't need to book hold luggage for all your essentials.

From the balcony you can see the communal swimming pool and from the rooftop solarium you can see the pool and both the salt lakes that Torrevieja area is famous for. There is also a tantalising glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

What makes this apartment unique

Upgraded furniture. Good quality new corner sofa bed in the lounge and new memory foam mattresses on the beds, allowing a good comfortable nights sleep. All bedding is provided, including lightweight duvets for the summer and secondary duvets for cooler months.

This area is a very popular area for people who want to enjoy cycling, golf or family friendly holidays. It is only a 15 minute drive to some of the best beaches in the Costa Brava. There is some fantastic shopping available nearby, several water parks and scenic drives both into the mountains and along the coast.

Casa Morito - A perfectly appointed Apartment

A week in April for some 'warm weather training' & so booked Casa Morito from the owners Wendy & Andy. They responded promptly to all emails & the booking process was straightforward. The meet & greet from Bob & Josie was most welcoming. The apt was spotlessly clean & perfectly appointed, to make the stay an enjoyable one. The safe & secure communal pool area (just yards away and viewed from the balcony or terrace) was attractive & maintained to a high standard. The information guide put together by the owners was comprehensive & informative.

A car is preferable to make the most of & explore the surrounding area: whether it would be for the many golf courses, beaches, the countryside for cycling, Torrevieja Sports City complex, the area has it all. There are some fine dining establishments close by in Quesada, Benjiofar & Los Montesinos. A clean & very reasonably priced supermarket is only a 1 min drive away. 'Habaneras & La Zenia' Shopping Malls are only a 10 or 20 min drive away too. Having visited the area regularly over 10 years now, I would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Morito.

Whilst car hire is not completely necessary it is recommended in order to get the most from this fabulous area. There is a good Taxi service based in Los Montesinos who will be happy to provide quotes if required.

La Herrada is a quiet urbanisation near Los Montesinos. Within the various immediate neighbours there is a mix of permanent residents and properties used as holiday homes. Many of the permanent residents are happy to provide useful information on the region - Just Ask!

There is a good sized Dialprix supermarket just a few minutes walk away, where you can get a good range of fresh fruit, vegetables and pastries. They also sell alcohol and most things needed during your stay. In the same block there is also a Tapas Bar, a hairdressers and an Irish Bar. There are many more bars, cafés and restaurants in the typical Spanish town of Los Montesinos, which is a leisurely 20 minutes walk away, or a 5 minute drive.
