This timber framed house, built in the 17th and 18th centuries, has been carefully restored to be ready to welcome you.
Warm and friendly, it is perfect accommodation for two families or a large group of friends.
With ample private parking in quiet, private grounds, it is within ten minutes walk of the old port and the Honfeur town centre.
Set in the 5 acre grounds of the historic Pavillon de la Reine, these two properties nestle in the beautiful Normandy countryside within ten minutes walk of the Honfleur town centre along a quiet road. They originally date from the 17th/18th centuries. La Ferme is a large yet comfortable timber framed house that sleeps 10 and La Bergerie is in flint and brick and sleeps 4.
The properties belong to an Anglo/French family. My husband and I bought the properties in 2003 and decided to restaure them and transform them into comfortable and welcoming places for you to stay. We brought up our two daughters there for 8 years and then spent 6 years in Paris, but after my husband passed away last summer, I decided to carry on managing the properties and to return to Honfleur. I get help from Amanda and Craig Ferguson, who also live in Honfleur and organise everything if I'm not around. We are all committed to making sure that you stay is memorable and that you leave determined to come back.
Honfleur is a beautiful and picturesque town and the properties are ideally located, only 10 minutes walk from the harbour and the town centre, and in a peaceful 5 acre ground.
Isabelle Mountain purchased this farmhouse in 2003

Really well designed for 2 families or a big extended family group.
The kids loved exploring the rooms and grounds. equipped with a fab playroom, fancy dress outfits, toys and books....
Easy walk into Honfleur perched on the hillside above with lovely views.
The property was ideally situated for our party of 8 adults - peaceful but within easy walking distance of Honfleur and its shops and restaurants. A trip to a local bakers each morning was easily achieved! We found some lovely restaurants and should particularly mention La Lieutenance in the centre of Honfleur where we had an exceptional meal one evening. La Ferme was well equipped and very clean - we were provided with plenty of towels and some local provisions on arrival and Isabelle made us very welcome. There is plenty to do in the area including visits to the landing beaches. On our first night there we saw a spectacular firework display down in Honfleur without moving from the grounds of the property! We would be very happy to return to Honfleur and La Ferme and would definitely recommend.
Eight days for three families, with an additional two guests for one night: a great success for all 10/12 of us (from under 3 to over 70). La Ferme was all we had wished for and more than we had expected. The delightful Isabelle was on hand to welcome us and respond to our questions.
The house is beautiful, well presented and sensibly equipped. Our youngsters enjoyed the proximity of the animals (2 goats, a horse and a donkey) as well as the swings. La Ferme is very well positioned just a short ten minute stroll from the centre of Honfleur; with a highly recommended bakery and fish shop even nearer. Amongst the nearest of the shops there is a small but well stocked supermarket. The local market was very good; and the bigger Sunday one at Trouville worth a visit. The local beach is very accessible, but for swimming the beach at Deauville was preferred. The zoo at Lisieux is well worth a day's excursion. One restaurant we much enjoyed revisiting was Auberge du Vieux Clocher on Rue de L'Homme du Bois.
We were exceptionally fortunate with glorious weather but even so the unanimous verdict from the six adults was that our holiday was made by the magic of La Ferme.
We stayed at the larger of the two houses August 2015. We were a little worried about the size (this is the larger of the two houses) as the photos are a little muddled for the two properties. However on our arrival we were delighted. Our party consited of a family of 5 and one of 6 and that incorporated 3 teenage girls and young children. We opted for Honfleur so the older ones could have a bit of freedom. Honfleur itself was very very busy, This house, however, is in a totally peaceful area which is also a really easy short walk into the town. The house is beautiful and bigger than we expected, you walk into a lovely kitchen followed by a small room with sofa and small tv followed by a large living room with table to accommodate 12 and comfy seating area. Off both living rooms are staircases to two separate upstairs areas, both over two floors. These were absolutely perfect as two families can share yet have their own space. Ours had first a lovely en-suite double then above that a fab children's room which slept 2 but Isabelle very kindly put in a 3rd bed for us, this had a loo and sink too so our children just used our bath. On the other side from the separate staircase, our friends had a lovely double, a separate bathroom, and off their room as a 'den' with a big TV (we loved that this was not in the main area of the house)the teenagers spent the evening there! Above them were two twin bedrooms. Perfect. Wii fi not great but we went to get away from that. We loved it. Isabelle was wonderful, kindly inviting us to her beautiful home above us nestled in the hillside, she was on hand if we needed her but otherwise left you totally private. We would definately go back. I would not recommend this property for families with toddlers or elderly with mobility problems as tight spiral staircases to upstairs but fantastic for falilies like our with children ranging from 8-15. The beds were SO comfortable and linen beautifully laundered.

Honfleur is especially known for its old, picturesque port characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted many times by artists, including in particular Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Jongkind, forming the école de Honfleur (Honfleur school) which contributed to the appearance of the Impressionist movement.
The Pavillon de la Reine in who's grounds these properties reside was built by Louis XVIth in the 1780s.
The two properties are close to the town and not far from beaches and golf courses in St. Gatien, Trouville and Deauville. The St. Gatien airport is within 15 minutes drive.
