Lovely London Host and Hospitality
Words cannot describe how perfect this home was for my stay in London. Stephanie, the host, went out of her way with the tiniest details to make this a most pleasant visit. Fresh flowers, fruit, eggs, cheese, etc. in the fridge. Comfortable bed with gorgeous sheets and towels in the bathroom. Nice kitchen with all supplies one would want for cooking. Super fun vibe with joyful artwork. Lots of travel books, maps, etc for reference. The location is ideal with easy access to transportation and located in a charming neighborhood for fabulous walks. I really hope to return again someday!
Such a gem 🤩
I could not imagine any other place in London to stay at, except friends or my own apartment.
Not only the stunning art work, the fresh flowers, filled up fridge, compfy beds, but also our candid correspondence prior to our departure to be assured everything will be smooth and welcoming.
Stephanie‘s place has been beyond our expectations! Denmark hill station just a stone‘s throw away, buses in front of the house. Parks, playgrounds, convenience stores nearby.
Moreover it‘s worth to explore the area by simply strolling along.
Many thanks Stephanie for this heartwarming experience!
Best in London!
Best experience of our short vacation so far. Stephanie was an excellent host. She set up the apartment perfectly with fresh fruit, coffee, and several items for breakfast. She even lent us Oyster cards for the Metro which is how we got around mossy of our stops.
Will stay again for sure next time in London.
Better than five star hotels
My daughter and I found this apartment very convenient for our one month stay. The location is very good and well serviced by public transport, the bus stop is just few steps away, the overground train station is less than five minutes walk. Shops and mega stores are nearby. The entrance to the apartment is private and separate, it also has an alarm and a security system.
The kitchen was fully equipped with basically everything! Even cooking oil, vinegar and assorted teas, and for coffee lovers out there, you can prepare your coffee with a french press, coffee filter, or simply use espresso coffee machine!
Stephanie was very kind, hospitable and cooperative. She spares no effort when asked for assistance of infos.
We appreciate how she took care of small details, for example you’ll find plants in almost every room, she also changes the flowers every now and again.
Both bathrooms were very clean and equipped with soaps, shower gels, shampoos and conditioners, she constantly provided clean towels and toilet paper throughout our stay.
Most importantly, the communication with Stephanie was very easy and convenient, she responded within minutes.
We totally enjoyed our stay, and we highly recommend this property.
I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay in the apartment. It was a pleasure to host you and your daughter. Thank you very much for your kind words and lovely review. Stephanie
Outstanding Apartment in London
The apartment was perfect for our family. It had everything in it that we needed or wanted, plus some lovely extras like fresh, healthy food stocked in the kitchen for us. It's an easy walk to the apartment from the train station, or there are buses right outside the front door. Stephanie was extremely helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions, and information about all aspects of London, and responded to my e-mails prior to our stay very quickly.
Beautiful and comfortable apartment in Camberwell, Southwark section of London.
This apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood in South London, just 2 blocks or so from the Denmark Hill National Rail station. The owner, who lives downstairs, welcomed us with start-up groceries including organic whole grain bread, English cheddar cheese, butter, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, juice. Not only groceries, but also food for the spirit: fresh flowers, and beautiful art work on the walls of the apartment. The beds were quite comfortable, and the efficiency kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils.
The living room, kitchen and one bathroom are on the second floor, and the two bedrooms and the other bathroom are upstairs on the 3rd floor. The apartment would not be easily accessed by someone with limited mobility.
Our hostess also helped us with local restaurant and grocery shopping recommendations as well as public transit information and options.
There's a bus stop just in front of the building, and a convenience store, two restaurants and a pub next door.
Our hostess also provided wifi internet access, and even a printer connected to a tablet so that we could print out tickets to London tourist spots, making our visit even more home-like.
We would definitely recommend this place to others, and would book again if we were to return to London.
