The terraced cottage has been recently beautifully renovated in a French style to create a calm space with muted colour tones and furnishings throughout. A few steps from the street lead into the open plan living/dining room which has a comfortable 3 seater sofa, and 2 arm chairs, opposite a stone fireplace. A 28" flat screen TV and DVD along with broadband and wifi access are all inclusive. There is a round painted dining table and 4 chairs with 4 additional chairs dotted around the property. The separate kitchen continues the country theme with wooden shaker style units and integrated appliances. The spacious modern bathroom has an air of luxury with modern bathroom suite and travertine tiles throughout. The 2 double bedrooms include French style beds, along with walnut veneer wardrobes with floor to ceiling curtains in toile de jouy. The luxurious bed throws, antique French chandeliers and old fashioned cast iron radiators add to the ambiance. There is a walled patio garden.
Many thanks for the use of your property. We had a great time in Brighton, made all the more enjoyable by having such a lovely place to go back to at the end of the day. It really has a great feel to it and was extremely peaceful. September 2012
Thanks Grainne, I had an absolutely brilliant time it is a very nice house and would definitely recommend it to others or book it again myself. June 2012

The property had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable & the ideal location, we've definitely all got fitter walking up the hills! The house is beautifully kept, we couldn't have asked for more! Thankyou
Perfect house for our holiday, great position in central Brighton, had everything we needed and was lovely and cosy for a Christmas break!
Great place to stay in a quiet but convenient area known as Hanover. You can walk to town/seafront fairly easily, but, tbh, it was so easy and cheap to get taxis for four of us, so we did that most of the time. We were able to find a parking space very close to the property too, which was a relief!
The cottage is lovely and was perfect for us - warm, clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. We found it easy to park on the street near the house, and enjoyed walking into Brighton. All uphill on the way back but there are regular buses. There are plenty of local pubs and cafes and a lovely bakery at the end of the street.
We had a fantastic time in Brighton and wouldn't hesitate to stay in the cottage again. We would highly recommend it.
The house is very well appointed, comfortable and reasonably well equipped. The open-plan arrangement in the downstairs living area gives a nice feeling of spaciousness. We were able to walk to the centre of Brighton in 30 minutes, and driving north or east into the South Downs is very easy from the Hanover district. There is a good selection of food shops nearby. In common with most town-based accommodation there is competition for car-parking, although most of the time we were able to park quite near to the house.
We had a super time staying in Brighton. Our little cottage was perfect for us. Clean, pretty furnishings - it felt like home! Great location as we could walk into town and Grainne, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay - our three little girls loved it!
