Location, Location, Location! A lovely bright Apartment set right on the beach with direct access to the boardwalk. Its has great sea views and is located just a short stroll into La Cala centre within the secure complex of Las Mimosas. The complex has 2 swimmimg pools together with children's pools, a tennis court, a paddle court, football & table tennis.
The Apartment has one large bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge so can accommodate up to 4 adults. The recently renovated fully equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, intregated microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is a hairdryer plus an iron and ironing board available for guests. In the lounge there is a flat screen TV with full English channels, a radio/CD player, a DVD player and a log burning fireplace. The Apartment has air conditioning which also provides heating in the winter months. The Apartment has its own WI-FI connection and there is additional WI-FI available on the complex. There are sun loungers, beach chairs and decks chairs for the guest use around the pool, roof terrace and beach and the sea facing balcony has views over the swimming pools and gardens to the beach and sea. It is so close to the beach you can hear the sea from within the Apartment which is so relaxing!
The complex is ideally located on the beach with direct access onto the boardwalk which runs along the beaches from La Cala to Cala Honda.It's is only a short flat stroll into La Cala centre and is near to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets. The coastal bus service which runs regular between Malaga, Fuengirola and Marbella has bus stops outside the complex so car hire is not essential for travelling to other areas on the Mijas Costa. There is ample parking within the secure gated complex if guest do decide to hire a car.
Personal Airport transfers from Malaga Airport direct to the Apartmentcan be arranged for guests via our Agents at a cost of 45 Euros each way.

Perfect fo two with seaview
The appartment was in perfect condition when we arrived. There was some basic items like coffee, rice, salt and pepper, cleaning chemicals, soap etc. that gave us a very welcoming feeling. It was clean and smelled fresh. The appartment is well equiped and we didn't miss a thing.
The view from the appartment and the balcony over the pool area and the sea is great.
There are two reasons for rating the appartment with four stars instead of five:
1. There is no air-condition
2. There is no broadband wifi installed in the appartment.
If those two issues were to be installed, the five stars would be rated!

The installation of the air conditioning has been delayed due to negotiations with the complex management but should be installed before this summer.
Wi-Fi is available on the complex but sometimes due to the local service, it is not always available in the apartment itself. However Wi-Fi is always available in the club house next to the swimming pool.
Clean, good condition, lovely view, close to beach.
The property was a pleasure to stay in with all bed linen, towels and furniture very clean.
Lovely apartment with great views
when we arrived at this apartment it was , very clean, fresh and bright, the kitchen although small have everything you need to cook, the bedroom is a fine size with a very comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space,it should be noted that you can hear noise from the road outside but as the week went on I stop noticing it, the balcony is small but great view to enjoy a drink on, it was a pity about the wooden chairs I personelly didn't find them confortable,but thats only a minor detail,2 big pluses to this apartment beside the view was the beach and boardwalk is just outside the garden gate so walkers and beach lover will be in haven , the other is the location just a 10 min walk to la cala village but if you dont fancy that 2 min away is bars restaurants and a great bakery, the owner Phil although we didnt meet him was always available via email, we planned to go back in July 2018 but our dates were booked out, over all we enjoyed our stay......Phil O Reilly
Nice appartment with perfect location
Nice appartment very close to the beach and the boardwalk and about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Cala de Mijas. The appartment was clean with a small kitchen and livingroom. Ok bathroom and separate quite big bedroom with a double bed. Small, but very ok terrace with perfect view to the beach and the sea. The only negative thing we coud find was that we could not get the aircondition to work, but it was not that hot so it was not a real problem for us. Some noise from the road in the bedrooom, but no big problem. All in all a perfect appartment for a couple. I will for shore rent it again.
Many thanks for your review. There are clear instructions on how to operate the air con units in the Information Manual in the apartment as well as the manufacturers manual which is found in the unit in the lounge.

Fantastic apartment and a fantastic location. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend nine wonderful nights. The apartment is well equipped and furnished with a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The complex itself is beautiful and you step outside the complex onto a wonderful beach with a beach bar at the entrance. It's only a ten minute stroll along the promenade into La Cala. There are a range of restaurants nearby within a few minutes walk. There is also a nearby supermarket which stocks everything you would need and a Lidl is located about a 15 minute walk away. We will definitely visit this apartment again as we have stayed in many places in this area but none compare to this apartment and this location. Also Phil is a great host and while we did not meet him he was always contactable by email and arranged for us to be collected from the airport and shown around the apartment and complex. Thank you Phil you have a great apartment which is well decorated and appointed and which is situated in a wonderful location.
Relaxing break, close to all amenities
We had no problems arranging to meet the representative at the property to collect the keys which continued the excellent and quick responses we had always had from the owner prior to the start of our holiday. The apartment was clean and well presented on arrival and incredibly well equipped - beds available for sunbathing by the pool, a trolley to help transport shopping from Lidl which is close by, there is nothing that we couldn't find in the kitchen for anything we wanted to prepare. The sofa bed was the easiest I have used to put up and pack away as well as providing a comfortable nights sleep.
The apartment is well positioned for a relaxing holiday with many restaurants accessible close by and with a 10-15 minute walk along the boardwalk outside the apartment to La Cala. The complex itself is very well maintained and offers beach and pool on your doorstep.
You can get around without the need to hire a car using buses which we did to go into Marbella & Puerto Banus though there was plenty of parking within the secured gates of the complex if you do hire a car. Even in the summer holidays there always seemed to be done places available.
We enjoyed a lovely holiday and would happily return again.

Checking into the property is allowed from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and Check out of the property is to take place by no later than 10am on the day of departure to allow the cleaners to prepare the Apartment for new guests. Guests will need to complete the guest booking form and email a copy to the owners to allow our Agents to comply with the conditions of our tourist licence.
