Located in an agricultural village and wine area in the north of Tenerife, "Charcos Verdes" is a family villa located in a natural environment very carefully. Surrounded by magnificent gardens and a farm, this house is a gem hidden within the town center of the village. Outside tourist routes, and close to the historical centers of Santa Catalina and El Cristo, our guests will experience the local experience as a neighbor, also counting on the proximity to the connecting routes with the main towns of Tenerife, that will allow them to realize Excursions to any point on the island and return on the same day. Close to La Laguna (World Heritage City) and La Orotava, two characteristic examples of ancient Canarian culture.


Equipped with large spaces, the house is prepared to comfortably accommodate 6 guests and 3 children up to 2 years old. All rooms are exterior with direct access to the garden and to the terraces. A large kitchen equipped with appliances and utensils to eat and cook with total comfort for any type of stay. There is enough space and privacy for everyone. There is a bright two-room lounge where you can read or relax, as well as a TV room and Wi-Fi connection where you can prepare your day's plans. Kids will love a special toy room exclusive to them, and a sports court where they share games. The outside terrace, with tables and chairs to eat, make possible the outdoor enjoyment of the whole family and friends. The laundry area has a washing machine, dryer, iron and clothes line.

It is easy to organize the stay of all guests with the privacy of our 3 bedrooms. The family bedroom has a separable double bed (1.80x2.00m), reading lights, wardrobes and private full bathroom. If necessary, its width allows to enable it for 2 adults and 2 children with children's beds or cots. The second bedroom has two large single beds (1.10x2.00m), closets and reading lights. Both have beautiful bay windows with direct access to the balcony and garden views. A full bathroom gives service to the double room. The third room, with direct access to the terrace and the garden, has two large single beds (1.10x2.00 m), closets and complete private bathroom. Any of them can be completed with a crib.

"Charcos Verdes" is a house to be enjoyed in all its breadth and nature. Bright, authentic, simple and with generous green spaces that are our best kept treasure. When you get to the house that has a canarian palm tree on the sidewalk, an old stone floor made piece by piece, a wash pile carved into a single block of stone and a "dornajo" made of a tree trunk, looks up and you will see some baskets of authentic craftsmanship. You have arrived. Climb up this ladder of wood and iron so special, and discover the nature of "Green Ponds."

In 5 minutes you will find the supermarket, medical services, banks, pharmacies, shops, taxis, post offices ... and the connection with the TF5 highway, from where the traveler can connect with all the towns of the Island. Unbeatable starting point for exploring the entire northern area, from Punta del Hidalgo to Punta de Teno. The proximity to the coast is a marvel, since in a few meters you can move to the fishing village of El Pris and walk along the coastal path that connects you to Mesa del Mar, where you can enjoy the natural pools and the black sand beach, with a public point of access wifi.

Being able to get closer to the Farmer's Market on weekends and enjoy the products of local farmers and their environment is an advantage. Discover fruits, vegetables, flowers, cheeses, honey, pastry, wines ...

In the surroundings there are variety of restaurants that make homemade and typical food of the island, some even with the possibility of taking home. Further afield, fresh fish in El Pris, ribs with potatoes and mojo in El Portezuelo, experimental cuisine in El Sauzal, "guachinches", calamares in Punta del Hidalgo, tapas, drinks and music in La Laguna, opera and theater in Santa Cruz, hiking in Anaga, surfing in Bajamar, volcanic experience in El Teide, are just some of the things that guests will be able to enjoy if they come to visit us.


We recommend using the car, and book it in a company with an office at both airports.

If you are coming from Tenerife South Airport, drive towards Puerto De la Cruz. It connects with the highway TF5 and takes the exit to TACORONTE and follows the indications to go to the zone of "Santa Catalina", where the house is located. They are approximately 75 km.

If you come from Tenerife North, drive 10 km along the TF5 motorway towards Tacoronte and take the exit.

To leave from the house, In 10 minutes you will be in the Autopista del Norte TF5, main way of connection with all the towns of the Island.

Public Transport: in 5 minutes you reach the center, where there are bus stops for different areas of the island and taxi rank. With home delivery if required.

Easy parking in the house, safe and free of charge.


1 child under 2 years old can stay free of charge sharing bed with two adults.

1 weekly change of sheets and towels, after 7 nights.

You will find the house clean and airy, with beds made and towels in the bathrooms.

The tap water is drinkable and suitable for cooking, although for drinking we advise the bottled.

Our house is located in a wine village in the north of Tenerife, near the urban area and the historical center.
