Stunning bungalow villa completely refurbished to a very high standard, sleeps 8 with a large private pool and childrens pool. 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite), plus guest toilet in entrance hall. The villa benefits from air conditioning/heating plus ceiling fans throughout. There is also a log burning stove for the Winter. Standing in beautiful secluded gardens which are not overlooked the villa has a private gated drive with double carport. There is a large terrace with rattan furniture and marble dining table for alfresco dining, with a built-in BBQ chimney. Shops, bars, restaurants and the beach are minutes away by car.

About Michael Aldridge

We are a family of 5 with two sons and a daughter. We enjoy family holidays and go skiing once a year.

We live in a rural Cheshire Village with our two boxer dogs and the chickens.

We enjoying playing golf and are both still working.

Why Michael Aldridge chose West Costa del Sol

We have been visiting El Paraiso for over 20 years and the area gives the whole family everything they need from a holiday and more.

When we walked into the villa in 2011 we all knew it was perfect for our family and had a home from home feel.

The villa is in its own private grounds which are stunning, but is accessable to everything you need.

Since buying the villa we have replaced all the bathrooms except for the Guest Toilet in the Hall, a bit of a retro room, something to remind us of how the house was before the refurbishment.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our guests holiday experience and use our own high expectations to add and upgrade things which you may not be used to getting in other villas.

What makes this villa unique

Guests will enjoy the benefit of quality comfortable beds and bed linen. Each room is air-conditioned. We have Fibre Optic Broadband, Free Wi-fi, 3D Smart Television with over 100 channels including BBC, ITV etc., and a DVD player with a selection of DVD's.

The villas bedrooms are split with two either side of the property giving more privacy for couples or two families.

The private pool with its sunbathing areas and covered terrace with integral BBQ is the perfect place to enjoy your holiday with family or friends.

The villa is situated at the rear of El Paraiso golf course and not near the busy main road. Guests can use the back lanes to gain access to Los Flamingos and the beach in one direction or Atalaya and Benahavis in the other.

There are many good local restaurants and bars so you don't have to travel far in the evening and two supermarkets close by.

Special interest holidays:

There are lots of local walks around the area as well as great walks up La Concha from Ojen about 20 minutes drive away. See www.juanar.com this is a hotel where you can park and walk from and then return to a nice lunch or a well deserved drink.

Coast/Beach:

Antigua Beach is 5 minutes away by car where you can hire a sunbed either on a lovely grassed area or on the beach itself. There are two bar restaurants here, Antigua Beach and Pepes Beach Bar, both are excellent for lunch. There are many other beaches with a short distance details of which are in the villa.

Travel:

Both Malaga airport and Gibraltar airport are within a 40 minutes drive from the villa. It is essential to hire a car either before you arrive or on arrival at the airport to enable you to make the most of your holiday. A local taxi company is recommended in the villa information book the charge to Malaga airport is approx 90 Euros or 120 euros from an airport taxi. We can also arrange airport transfers is required.

Monarch, EasyJet, Jet 2, Ryanair, all travel to Malaga.

Distances:

No where is far on the Costa del Sol, the road system is very good. Marbella 15km. Puerto Banus and Estepona 8 km. Benahavis is 10 minutes by car up the mountain road. Mijas takes 30 minutes by car and if you want to venture out further try Gibraltar or Rhonda for the day.

Further Details:

The local commercial centro Bena Vista is a few minutes by car. Here there is a Supermarket open until 10pm every day. A bank, butchers, newsagents, hairdressers, pharmacy and many bars and cafes. Good for breakfast. There is also a Mercadona 5 minutes away on the Benahavis Road. Good value, excellent selection of fresh meat and fish as well as a good choice of wines and spirits.

There are also many good restaurants recommended in our information book with telephone numbers so you can book when its busy.

Tennis is available at BelAir Tennis Club 5 minutes away and you can also enjoy a visitors membership at El Campanario, which has a gym, indoor and outdoor pool, tennis and padel tennis, spa facilities and a 9 hole par 3 golf course aswell as a restaurant and bar.

All details are available either from ourselves or in the villa.

Notes on accommodation: Fully air-conditioned/heated villa. Private parking within the grounds of the villa which are gated. The villa has an intruder alarm and is security patrolled. This is a no smoking villa, please do not smoke in the villa. Smoke alarms are fitted. Pool towels to be used on the sunbeds and around the pool only. For safety please only use plastic glasses provided around the pool area. Outside: There is a large swimming pool 10mtrs x 5 mtrs. The depth is from 1.2mtrs to 2.3mtrs at the deep end plus a toddlers area attached to the main pool. Outside shower. There are 8 adjustable sunloungers with cushions and some occasional tables with three parasols and a dining table and chairs. Utility Room: Utility has a washing machine with drying area and clothes line with airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are provided. Mid stay linen changes and cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost. Pool towels are also provided but must not be taken to the beach. Cots and highchairs are available for rental. Other: Terrace is an integral part of the house with rattan 3st sofa and 2 armchairs with coffee table. Marble dining table and chairs for alfresco dining with built-in BBQ. There is also a guest toilet and washbasin in the entrance hall

A delightful home from home; can't recommend highly enough.

The property has everything you need for a fabulous holiday. A very well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, beautiful pool and outside barbecue/ eating area. The two bedrooms on either side of the lounge worked really well for us with teenagers on one side and youngest child on the other with us. Everywhere was really clean and well presented. The agents were very helpful ; good to have them nearby if you need them. You do need a car to get around but we knew that before we booked. You definitely won't be disappointed .

A fantastic place to stay

We had a brilliant week at this beautiful villa. It catered for the whole family, aged from 5 to 75! Everyone had a great time relaxing, playing in the gorgeous pool and enjoying the local food and wine. Allison and Michael were great answering any queries prior to our visit and the team at Tango were very helpful during our stay. We would love to come again sometime.

Another excellent holiday

Having stayed here in 2014 we were all very much looking forward to returning and weren't disappointed. As before, our group comprised seven family members across three generations but this time we were able to stay for two weeks and our grandson, now two and a half, got much more from the pool, albeit under the close scrutiny of six pairs of very attentive eyes!

The villa is maintained to a very high standard with all the equipment and facilities you could wish for and the team at Tango, the local agents, are always available to provide friendly help and advice.

Lunch at the El Paraiso Golf Club is a must, as is dinner at Ramos - both within walking distance if you just have to have that extra glass of wine to keep cool in the lovely weather! We also visited San Pedro and Estepona this trip, both only minutes away in the car, and some of the group took a day trip to Gibraltar passing through the border controls without any delay despite the UK having voted 'Brexit' only the week before...

I can't recommend this villa highly enough. The location and standard is excellent, and nothing is too much trouble for the owners, Allison and Michael, or their agents at Tango.

Our local agent will meet you at the villa on arrival with the keys and a refundable security deposit of 500 Euro taken by credit card against damage and any cleaning and laundry costs will be required. The agent will also be at the villa upon departure. The security deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure.
