Fantastic Penthouse Bosca

  • 5 of 5

After a challenging 223 steps you are rewarded with a spectacular view the villa had everything you needed the balcony was a great size with table and chairs loungers and stools also a shower spray that was lovely on a very hot day Giovanni was a great host and was so helpful and told us lots of the history of Positano and places to visit, and gave us a bottle of his home made wine, we do hope to return to Penthouse Bosca sometime soon

spectacular view

  • 5 of 5

This comfortable quiet, little penthouse villa had a huge balcony with a spectacular view of the sea and the houses nestled into the cliff side. Equally beautiful, day or nigh. It was certainly well worth the 233 steps up and down to the road level. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment.

Most Romantic Trip of My Life? YES

  • 5 of 5

Stop reading now and just make your reservation for this place! Okay, but still. A lot of properties in Positano are outdated or don't have that feeling of "polish." Giovanni's place is fresh, clean, and it has the best view you'll find on the coast. I actually LOST two pounds on my Italian vacation from climbing the stairs (which we learned to love). Totally romantic getaway for my husband and me. Giovanni was very responsive by email for our handful of questions while we were there. I am gearing up my penny bank to go back.

A wonderful place to enjoy Positano!

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been happier with the host, Giovanni, or his incredible property. Giovanni was extremely helpful and accommodating (especially with our later-than-expected arrival), and the villa was perfectly tidy and well appointed. The views from the terrace were among the best in Positano.

The location in Positano was perfect for us. We found an awesome family-owned grocery store/deli (Latteria) just about 10 minutes away and also appreciated the proximity to Fornillo Beach, which is the quieter, more laid-back beach in Positano.

Having a great place to stay made our trip in Positano our favorite destination on our tour of Europe.

We will be coming back to Positano, and we will stay with Giovanni again!

Parents Getway in Positano - We LOVED our stay, take me back!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Giovanni for sharing your beautiful home with us! My husband and I spend 6 nights in Positano and wish we could move there. What a beautiful town and wonderfully kind people. The view from the deck is truly incredible, as mentioned, the stairs are challenging but the view is completely worth it. The walking and climbing makes up for all of the eating and drinking ;) A few nights we picked up fresh meats, cheeses, bread, wine and Lemoncello at Latteria (our favorite place, the people are truly WONDERFUL, try all of the fresh things they make you won't be disappointed!) and had dinner overlooking Positano and it was incredible. The wifi was important for us to be able to Facetime with our daughter as it was our first trip away from her!

Giovanni arranged for a taxi to pick us up in Naples, which was easy and totally worth it - I would 100% suggest taking him up on this! The apartment is a bit of a walk out of the main part of town, but we enjoyed the stroll each day and made plenty of stops along the way.

Positano is truly a special place, we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to experience it and all it has to offer!

Beautiful home and views, and awesome owner!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this villa for five days in April 2017, in the one bedroom top floor suite. We cannot say enough good things about it!

The view was absolutely stunning, we were pinching ourselves every day. It was lovely being able to sit out on the huge deck, with a glass of wine, and listening to the waves below. There is 180 ish steps up to the villa from the road , however it is well worth every step! There are a number of restaurants a short walk away (5-7 minutes) that we really enjoyed eating at. If you want to go into "town center" it is a 10-15 minute walk.

The villa its self is clean with an up to date small kitchen (no oven, but dopes have a two burner gas stove top, and a microwave). The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of closet space. There is also a couch that folds down into a nice sized bed, where my sister slept for a couple of nights.

Giovanni was great to deal with! He was helpful, attentive, and even had a beer waiting for us in the fridge. He helped us answer questions that we had about the town and transportation around the Amalfi coast.

We would highly recommend this villa, and we would definitely return.
