To spend an holiday in a peaceful location, very romantic, with a lot of space, and a spectacular view.
“Beautiful setting with a nearly endless view, a wonderful retreat!”

We loved nearly everything about Villa Boscariello. The Villa has everything one could want in a holiday home --- fully equipped kitchen, full-sized dining table, TV with DVD and music player, extra towels, extra blankets, two full bedrooms and bathrooms, two outdoor terraces. We are a family of four with two teenagers so having the space of a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment was an invaluable asset. But, beyond that, the view and setting were simply spectacular! The villa is like a retreat set on top of a cliff. Sliding glass doors open from the lounge and master bedroom onto a terrace that overlooks the sea and the town of Positano. The pictures in the listing are accurate, but don't really tell the full story -- the rooms are large, bright and spacious and the views are beautiful. This was our first trip to the Amalfi Coast and we had options to stay at many locations along t
Giovanni met us right where we parked our car and walked us up to our villa. Although carrying our luggage up that many stairs was consuming, it was well work the hike. Our views were absolutely spectacular and gave a full profile view of the Positano coast. The patio provide a picturesque place for my wife, her sister and her sister's husband to hang out and enjoy a delicious bottle of wine with the city of Positano glowing behind us. There's nothing like waking up to the sun over the horizon of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Giovanni was a wonderful host and even gifted us with a bottle of his own white wine. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends that want to enjoy a getaway to fantastic Positano.
We loved this place! It is close enough to town to walk to the main area in ten or fifteen minutes and is far enough from the roads to be secluded. There were four of us on this trip and it was very comfortable. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms with an extra shower room. Giovanni was very helpful about places to eat and visit.
So Giovanni couldn't be nicer to work with. And the view is awesome. But if you plan on coming to Positano, a word of advice: Travel light. We ditched our luggage in Rome and came w/ backpacks only. (We had Bags-free drop off our bags at the next location so they were waiting for us when we got back to Rome in our hotel room!) When you get off the ferry, do not take the steps/stairs to the main road (there is only one main road for the town). Rather, head toward the church and wind you way up from there...walking along the shops. Taking the road up is a lot less tiring than taking the steps. Still, you will have 200+ steps from the road to the home. I think if you are in pretty good shape, you will get use to the steps. If you are not, you will have wished you booked a place down below. I would easily give the place 4 stars instead of 3 but the hike to get there drops it a star.
Giovanni was the perfect host! He arranged for porters to bring up our bags at 15 euros each and it was really worth it! The house is very comfortable and we had my 9 year old daughter, who is very picky with us! Giovanni left us bottled water, Peroni beer and some delicious home made Rosse wine he made! Theres olive trees on the deck, also lemons, apricot trees. It rained while we were there, but we love thunder and lightning so it was no problem. It cleared up the day we left and none of the days were completely washed out. We had a problem running out of euros and our sister bank was in another town. Giovanni offered to give us euros and let us pay him on Paypal. Thats above and beyond service! I like to cook, there were ample cooking supplies and spices. FYI, if you cannot walk up stairs, Positano is not for you. I only mention it because my older family members with knee issues loved our pics ( my husband is a photographer and he also shot overhead drone footage) and wanted to go, but I know they couldn't walk up all those steps. We enjoyed our time in Positano and it was due to our host, Giovannis hospitality!
Amazing Views from the terraces. There are many steps (250) to get to the apartment but it is worth the climb for the views. Apartment was clean and has everything we needed for our 7 night stay. Was very spacious for our family of 4. Giovanni was very helpful and met us on checking in and came to say goodbye when we left. He gave us plenty of information about local shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here.
We booked Giovanni's villa August 2015 and looked forward to going for the whole year. We had built up quite a bit of excitement by that time, and I'm delighted to say that the holiday was everything we expected and a lot more. The villa was amazing, and the views were incredible. It is true, to get the views you need to be up high, and because of that there are a lot of steps, but it is worth every single one of them.
We loved the smaller beach with it's bars and restaurants, and the warm sea. We had several day trips - we hired a car and visited Sorrento, Amalfi and Salerno, and also went to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Loved it all.
The only down side - we had to come back.
Thank you Giovanni, you were the perfect host and very helpful. We will be back!
