Lovely place, centrally located in E Anglia.
Peaceful tranquil cottage with delightful sunny patio
A comfortable spacious cottage with peaceful outlook onto a sunny patio area. Very neat and clean with extras like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits available. Lovely to return to after days out to sit on the patio and listen to the birds. Diss and Bressingham Gardens close by. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
A relaxing break!
We both enjoyed our stay, especially as Phil and Carol messaged us, to say that we could start our break early, as the cottage was cleaned and ready for occupancy. When we arrived, we found it to be clean and well equipped and located in a quiet area, which was exactly what we were looking for.
We both like to explore, wherever we stay and once again, this cottage ticked all the boxes, as it was centrally located. If we return to Norfolk again, This will be our first choice.
Delighted you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the great review. Such a shame you had to cut your stay short, but entirely understandable. We look forward to welcoming you again another time perhaps. Best wishes to you and your family. x
A very good location
This was a well situated property for exploring both Norfolk & Suffolk. The cottage offered everything we needed & was clean, comfortable & quiet. We had privacy but the owners were on hand if required. A good idea was the ordnance survey map on the wall with a 10 & 18 mile radius marked. We enjoyed trips to several places, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Bury St Edmunds, Framlingham and the RSPB reserves at Minsmere & Strumpshaw Fen. Diss itself was a pleasant town, friendly with some good shops.
Lovely cozy cottage
Great three night stay here. Very comfortable, and shame it wasn't longer. Easy to find and good instructions from Carol and Phil. Excellent internet connection. Everything was there so we didn't need much else. 20 minute walk down to Diss town centre (a torch is useful as lane from cottage is quite dark). Great food, ale and welcome at The Saracen's Head - I had one of the best fillet steaks I've had in a long while.
All in all great trip and we'd like to visit again soon.
