About Jacqui Knowles

I am a freelance consultant living in Sale in Cheshire and have bought this property in Ingleton as a first step to moving up into the area permanently. My retirement plan!

I have been a keen walker for over fifteen years and my favourite areas are the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales. I have met lots of people who love this area as much as I do and so I have embarked on a plan to build a portfolio of properties specifically for people who want to enjoy this part of the country.

Why Jacqui Knowles chose Yorkshire Dales

I feel as though I have come home when I come to Ingleton. I am a 'Yorkshire Lass' who has been living in Manchester for the last 20 odd years!

I love walking in this area, the limestone scenery is breathtaking especially on a sunny day. There are so many places to explore that are in easy reach from Ingleton and for the fittest there is always the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, I still have to complete this. Maybe this year!

What makes this apartment unique

The property is within walking distance of Ingleton village centre and a short drive away from Kirkby Lonsdale. This is the only apartment on the site to have its own private entrance and a walk-in storage area which is ideal for storing bikes and climbing equipment as well as drying wet gear keeping the apartment itself free of steaming clothing!

Notes on accommodation: Unfortunately we do not accept pets and there is no smoking permitted in the apartment. The property has an open staircase, so if a child safety gate is required please mention when booking. Outside: The property looks out onto a courtyard from the Juliet balcony. There is an off road, private parking space allocated to the apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: Bed linen and towels are included in the price and changed on changeover. The property is cleaned on changeover. Guests are expected to leave the apartment clean and tidy on departure. Other: Ground floor walk-in secure storage area separate from the apartment is ideal for drying wet gear and storing climbing gear and bikes etc.

lovely modern property

We had a lovely stay. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and little things like a high chair and stair gate make things so much more relaxing. Lovrly views from the front room. A great week away. We will be going back soon!

The apartment is a great base for exploring the local area with Ingleton's waterfall walk and show cave within walking distance. The extra touches in the apartment made it homely and comfortable whilst also being clean and modern.

Country lovers dream

This apartment is well appointed and very comfortable. Ideally suited for people who love the outdoor life with wonderful walks and fabulous views close by. Ingleton is a delightful village and we found the locals to be both friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon.

The closest railway stations to Ingleton are Ribblehead, on the Leeds - Settle -Carlisle Railway, and Bentham on the Leeds - Morecambe line.

For convenient bus connections to Ingleton the best stations to use are Settle (Leeds-Carlisle line) and Lancaster (Virgin West Coast and local services).

Booking Notes:
Reservations are made on receipt of a 25% deposit (plus a damage deposit of £100 which is refunded 14 days after your stay) and confirmed with receipt of the full payment which must be received within 6 weeks of the arrival date.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday for weekly stays. Arrival anytime after 3.00pm and departure by 10.30am.
